Interesting stories about the streets in Atlanta - they circle and bend and twist - none of the streets are straight or go by grid. I think the Indians named them and they followed the path of the rivers.

Now I was raised here - so I know my way around - plus I have a 6th sense driving - I go by what I feel is right - all the others get so mad at me! They have GPS's and get so frustrated. Funny.

Love the way you spell you name too - do you spell it for a reason that way? I do. I used to spell it Sandy until I turned about 15 - then I changed it to Sandie.Chatty Cronehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02232040517217024681noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34486160.post-9556869769738692532009-09-21T05:34:27.556-04:002009-09-21T05:34:27.556-04:00You gave us all something to think about, with tha...You gave us all something to think about, with that song and lyrics. You are so ambitious with your lovely daily posts == and I can't even manage to comment every day! Anyway I've enjoyed them all and send best wishes to your family members who need them (well don't we all, but you know what I mean).

I printed out most of your hilarious jokes for some of my friends who aren't internet-savy (they are still out there), so they'll get shared around the walking group I go to here in OR.

Bill and I howled about your Atlanta post. We spent a little while there a few years ago and nobody out here believed us when we told them that every d&*n street was called "Peachtree." Bill has a good sense of direction, but he was totally at sea there. I told him now you know how I feel all the time with directions ;>).

SallieSallie (FullTime-Life)http://travelingrainvilles.typepad.com/traveling_home/noreply@blogger.com
