She is The Best Dog In The World and I tell her that every day. We do not take care of her, she takes care of us and everything on the estate. Over on these neck of the woods, there are a lot of adult men who dress like five year olds and their manners are lacking too. I teach my boys to be courteous and kind. This boosts their self esteem.

Loved the picture and Foot prints poem.Maria@BubblegumandDuctTapehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15662116090938892495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34486160.post-28242252516089522212010-11-04T00:00:03.974-04:002010-11-04T00:00:03.974-04:00Hi Sandie,

I tried to teach mine courtesy, but then look at the lady who "ran" you over at Sea World, she certainly wasn't courteous.

You are so right, we sometimes think it is all about us, but of course it is all for God's glory that we are here and for his kingdom being advanced. I think teaching courtesy and respect to our children went out with the 1960's.

Love the picture of the puppy licking the face. If they are, it isn't sticking with them - because I see an awful lot of them with "attitude."

As far as the puppy thing - oh yes, nothing better. I have a problem with these television shows that teach people to be so pushy and self-centered, so much so that courtesy becomes a weakness to them. Courtesy is, always will be, a strength.

XO,

Sheila :-)The Quintessential Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010105595059019883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34486160.post-26652474171355852062010-11-03T10:34:57.824-04:002010-11-03T10:34:57.824-04:00I love the saying "There is no better psychia...I love the saying "There is no better psychiatrist than a puppy licking your face" that is SO true.
