Kung Fu Panda Two

Okay - talking about the martial arts for another day I want to tell you about this movie.

PS about my grandson's test - did I tell you it was 2 1/2 hours? And tonight is the award ceramony so of course there will be pictures tomorrow.

Going to Kung Fu Panda Two - how many saw number one? Usually the sequels are not as good - this time it was as good or better.

The first movie taught the lesson - to believe in yourself.

This message talked about forgiveness being a choice.

Listen to what I say here - and I am saying it to Chatty too - you may be born a victim - you had no choice how you were born - but how you live - is your own choice.

It happens to be my hardest life lesson to learn and accept. Not only to accept, but to live. I admit it, and I'm not going to give up, but I have to fight to change my view of some things in my life every single day - if not every hour. And it's not easy for me. I pray daily for help and so far I just keep getting more lessons to learn!

Sometimes I have to do this:

"Always behave like a duck — keep calm and unruffled on the surface but paddle like the devil underneath."
– Jacob Braude

your signatures are just so cute! have to say that first before I forget, LOL

I did see the first movie and enjoyed it; I hope to see the second one eventually! good lesson too about choice, its my word of the year this year (last year being trust). I have to say it is hard to always live with the best choice of what I have available for me, but I am working on that most days, like I know you work on it the best you can too!

how fun with the award ceremony tonight and I do remember you telling how long the testing was! That was great GS did great with it all!!

Oh my goodness, I love to hear your intrepretation of the message in the movie. I saw this with my granddaughters and we all loved it. It was just as good as #1. What a life lesson for us all. Thanks for coming by my Blue Monday.

I like your dancing hippo.
We did see Kungfu Panda 1 and will see 2. I will keep in mind your observations about it.
Hey, the awards ceremony will be fun, I am sure.

Oh, Chatty, when you remind yourself to be forgiving, you remind me TOO! It can be a daily struggle for myself as well... I did see Kung Fu Panda the first time around, and liked it. I don't know that I would have thought twice about Part 2 though, until now. It sounds good, and I'll have to take Dear Son with me, if it comes around here!.. Congrats to GS!!.. And have a great day! ~tina

Have never seen the movie...but isn't that the truth...How we live is OUR choice!

That message is so true for so many people. It's easy to take the victim role and just roll over, it's much harder to fight and come out on top of things, but much more rewarding. So glad GS got that black belt and look forward to seeing the pictures! Ann

I love these words:

"Always behave like a duck — keep calm and unruffled on the surface but paddle like the devil underneath."

That's a good way of putting it, it's not always easy to practice though.

I did see the Kung Fu Panda 1, haven't seen No. 2 yet.

Once again, am so happy for Andy :-)
Blessings

I never did see the Kung Fu Panda movie. The previews I saw for it looked really cute though. Sounds like a perfect lesson to learn. Thanks for the piece of advice. It's something I try to work on all the time.

Sandie, I enjoyed the movie and forgiving is sometimes a hard thing to do...it is making yourself humble and allowing thoughts of anger to flow right out the door...sometimes not that easy to do...have fun at the awards...Debb

So agree with you Sandie, that your choices are your own.
