PROM TIME FOR US IS HERE!

QUIZ

If you don't like photos just sign off now - lol.

HOW DID YOU ASK YOUR DATE TO THE PROM
OR
HOW WERE YOU ASKED TO THE PROM?

Nothing is not that easy now - you have to do something special.

Bundt cake.

Disco in grandson's bow-tie.

Poster

Truth of Dare was the movie they went to that night.
She did say yes.  All this work was not for vain.
In fact it started as friends and I think this has turned into his first love.
Okay remember or least when I was younger we went steady.
Now they are exclusive.
They went exclusive!!  lol
Now here my guy didn't date at all and now he's exclusive.
She is a nice girl tho.

Don't tell him I told you that they are exclusive - lol.

Here goes!

Picking up his tux.

There is my little boy coming out.

Here is the man going out.

Figuring the flowers.

They are so innocent aren't they - ???

They are cute even if I have to say so myself.

Then went out as a group of friends.  This is their little group,  I think going in a group is wonderful.

Grandson's best friend is 6'4" and Grandson is about 6'.

They have been friends for years.

Isn't she looking up cute at him????

Prom is over - they look tired.

I hope he remembers the joy he's having right now and will carry it with him in the future.
Grandson I love you so.

DISCO'S CORNER OF THE WORLD

Oh how they love each other - Disco is a little jealous of that girl!

In GA when you 17 you have to be home at midnight.  So his mom and I knew he would want to stay out later - so we drove together and went and got grandson at 2am!!!  Daughter drove home one car and I drove home the other.  Boy waking up and driving safely is tough at 2am.
Anyhow - guess who went with us - Disco.
He was so tired.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT

SOMETHING TO LAUGH ABOUT

SOMETHING TO LEAVE YOU WITH

You know I want to be this way myself.

"Above all else,
guard your heart,
for everything you do flows
from it."

Proverbs 4:23

He looks so handsome and his date is lovely. Time passes so quickly, doesn’t it?

My grandson also did the “prom-posal” with his “exclusive”. It is a fun thing. I also like that you don’t need a date anymoreto go to prom and those not asked are not left out.

I love how everyone in the group looks.
Wow, on your grandson...some expressions still show the boy we've seen over the years and some show the man he has become. Your heart must be so full.

I have a feeling I will blink twice and my grandson (age 8) and granddaughter (3) will be at their proms.

Hi, my friend, I went back to look at your beautiful pictures again, and read your friends' comments. But, it looks like all the comments here have disappeared from view. Well, I remember writing a lovely comment in this special post. Your handsome grandson looks awesome, the girl is beautiful, and the party is unique. I hope you may read my new comment. Disco, your lovely dog, is having a good time there too...God Bless.
