THE CHICAGO RIVER WAS DYED GREEN SATURDAY, MARCH 14, 2026 THIS YEAR.
THEY DO THIS EVERY YEAR WITH A VEGGIE BASED DYE THAT IS SAFE.
I LIVED IN CHICAGO MANY YEARS AND I SAW THIS DONE ONCE.
IT WAS INCREDIBLE. SO COOL.
IF ANY WORD COULD EXPLAIN AND DESCRIBE MY LIFE RIGHT NOW - IT'S POOTLING.

I am lovin' all the green on here today, Sandie. That Chicago river dyed in green is something else! It must have looked so cool when you lived there and saw it in person. What a beautiful picture. I love the word "pootling," and although I've never heard it before, it sounds a lot like me these days hehehe. That bunny is so cute, and the prayer is special. I remember seeing the Chicago river several times. That was always fun! That Pootling is something else. That is a wonderful prayer. Happy St. Patrick's Day to you. Also, we must have prayer in our lives. Take care.
I went to Chicago once when the river was green. Thought it was full of algae until someone told me it was dyed green for St Patty's Day. Janice

I took Thursday and Friday off for a 4 day weekend and I plan on doing a whole lot of pootling.

I think I do a little too much Pootling. 🤣 I would love to see the beautiful green river...I know it is something to see. Hope you had a great St. Patricks Day. I felt very Blessed to have just visited St. Patricks Cathedral this past Sat.
