IT'S BEEN A BUSY MONTH!
GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER AND DAUGHTER WATCHING MISS RACHEL
MY DAUGHTER HAD A FANTASTIC IDEA - SHE WANTED TO HAVE A FONDUE.
SHE WANTED TO CELEBRATE THE HALF BIRTHDAY OF THE BABY - 6 MO.
GRANDSON AND GRANDDAUGHTER GETTING A NEW JOB AND STARTING A BIG CHANGE.
GRANDSON SAID HE WOULD HOST IT.
SWEET DAUGHTER PACKED UP ABOUT TEN BAGS AND BROUGHT THEM ALL OVER TO HIS HOUSE! HE WAS SHOCKED.
IT TURNED OUT FANTASTIC - SHE HAD ALL THE COURSES FROM THE MELTING POT. THE CHEESE - THE CHOCOLATE - THE MEAT AND ALL THE TRIMMINGS. WE SAT AND ATE AND TALKED FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS.
IT WAS WONDERFUL.
WE HAD WORKSTATIONS - WE DIDN'T LET THE KIDS WORK.
I DID THE CLEANING AND HUBS DID THE DRYING.
THE TWO GIRLS PREPARED THE FOOD.
LET'S MOVE ON TO MY FRIEND EDNA. I HAD PUT UP SHAMROCKS IN HER ROOM, BUT THEY DIDN'T LOOK SO GOOD SO I WENT IN AND PUT UP SPRING RIGHT AFTER ST. PAT'S DAY. SHE IS NOT DOING SO WELL.
I WANT A DOG SO BAD.
THIS WAS LAYLA - SHE WAS 7 YEARS OLD - POTTY TRAINED - JUST WANTED LOVE - BUT I APPLIED AND THEY SAID SHE NEEDED ANOTHER PET TO BE AROUND.
THE CONSIGNMENT SALE
MY DAUGHTER AND I WENT TO A HUGH CONSIGNMENT SALE.
LOOK WHAT WE BOUGHT FOR THE BABY.
YOU THINK WE OVERDID IT?
WE LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL SO MUCH - SHE IS SO SWEET!
SPRINGTIME IN ATLANTA IS HERE
IT'S ALMOST GONE!
SUMMER IS COMING.
AND SOMETHING WONDERFUL FOR MY GRANDSON AND GRANDDAUGHTER.
MY GRANDSON GOT A NEW JOB!
AND THEY BOTH GOT A NEW CAR.
OKAY HE RESEARCHED THE CAR ALL SUMMER.
FOUND A REASONABLE 2022 TELSA.
HE HAS ALWAYS WANTED ONE.
HE DROVE TO ALABAMA TO GET IT.
GOT THE PRICE DOWN EVEN MORE.
SOLD HIS HONDA CRV.
AND PAID CASH FOR THE NEW CAR. NO MONTHLY PAYMENT.
HE GOT A GOOD CAR TOO.
HE HAS A LOT OF BUSINESS SENSE AND FINANCIAL SENSE.
I HATE TO BRAG - BUT IN THIS CASE I CAN'T HELP IT.
THE CAR CAN DRIVE BY ITSELF TO COME PICK HIM UP.
PRAYERS FOR HIS NEW JOB.
Great what’s going on in your life photos. You sure have had a busy month and so nice to see what you and your family have been doing. Sweet little baby and smiled at all the clothes. The fondu party looked fun. What a wonderful idea about the workstation assignments. Makes it all a lot easier. Congratulations and good luck to your grandson in his new job. That new car brought great excitement I’m sure. The same to your nephew and his fiancé for their upcoming marriage. Prayers for your friend Edna, sweet idea to make her room look so pretty. I would love a dog too and that little one looked very cute. I hope your search will be successful next time. I hope I didn’t leave anything out but I enjoyed it all. ReplyDeleteA whole lot of excitement around your family. What a great idea of having a Fondue dinner. Sounds like she had everything planned right down to the jobs for everyone (which always makes things move along with ease) Congratulations to your nephew and his soon to be bride.. I do love weddings! We have one of those children resale shops in our area and there are always clothes there that have not ever been worn. I know baby girl is loved and always dressed with bows and ruffles. Great news Sandie for your son and daughter. sounds like he knows what he wants and he works hard to make it happen. Happy that he found his dream car and was able to pay Cash..something that most young people can not do these days. Prayers for him as he enters this new season of his life. We are loving Spring around here and I know you all are too. Happy Last Day of March.... Prayers also for Edna.

ReplyDeleteHow fun! Decades ago, I remember having work friends over to my apartment and we'd do fondue. That was in the early 70's. When I married in 1975 I remember receiving quite a few of them - I think k that was the favorite wedding/ shower gift and then it all died off.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new job and the new car. My husband wants a Tesla. We already have a plug in hybrid that gives us about 30 electric miles which are enough for driving around here. I'd rather buy a motor home or trailer.
Oh the clothing for babies are so cute and since they grow in a blink, second hand is a good way to find cute things.
It's the first Easter for your Great granddaughter! Enjoy those precious moments!
Oh, my, Sandie, that is a lot of clothes for Mackenzie!!! Can she wear them all before she outgrows them? Congrats to the grands on the new car and new job, too. You have had a most celebratory March, that's for sure. Blessings!

I am getting the things wrong with my car repaired by the mobile mechanic. It sounds like a great new job, and yes you did overdo on the shopping, but that is what happens with new babies.. its a thing

ReplyDeleteThe fondue sounds wonderful, especially the chocolate one. So good of you to do the dishes afterwards. I remember at our gatherings my oldest brother always did the dishes after everyone was done eating. Edna's room looks festive for spring! So good of you to decorate it - I'm sure it added a little cheer to her room. I'm sorry to hear she is not doing well. Do you want a dog just like Disco? wow, you sure got a haul at the consignment shop. Spring is almost over in Georgia? Ours just started haha. Love that little goose. I'm saying a prayer for Andy's new job. I hope he does well working there. March went by pretty quickly, and I wish you wonderful April days, Sandie. It's always a good month. : )

ReplyDeleteOf course you can brag!! How exciting for them - new jobs and new cars! That consignment store looks crazy big! That's the best way to buy clothes for little ones. They grow out of them before they wear out so most look like new! The fondue party looks like it was fun. I hear more about fondue again... must be making a comeback! Sending a hug!!

What a busy month you've had. Sad that you were not able to rescue the little dog, but if she needs another fur kid as company it's best she goes to a family with other animals.
ReplyDeleteAh this is great news Sandie regarding your grandson's new job and wow beautiful car. It sounds like he does have some great common sense...bet he gets it from you. Adore your spring wall decorations for Edna...they certainly would have to cheer her up. Have not thought about fondue in such a long time. It was certainly a big thing when we were in our 20's and 30's...not so much now. Ah everything seems to make a comeback. This is not necessarily a bad thing. LOL - Have a Happy Easter dear friend - Hugs!
