Stay the course!!! Attain the highest belt you can.

I remember you asked me about my son's learning disabilities. He had great difficulty reading and comprehending, however, any lecture courses or film versions of subject matter he was studying stuck like glue. Luckily, those concessions had to be made for him during his school years.

He also has horrible spelling. The games I had to come up with to teach him his spelling words were really funny! But in the end, he could spell mysterious but get went wrong every time!Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787912254932077059noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34486160.post-19017875399703945972010-03-18T21:20:16.275-04:002010-03-18T21:20:16.275-04:00If he loves it I hope he will be supported in his ...If he loves it I hope he will be supported in his interests. She tries too hard, and just finally shuts down.
And we know it is time for her to rest and start over the next day.
I don't know why the EX would suggest Soccer if he never played it, but I will tell you it does take an enormous amount of focus to play it. A lot of people think it is just get out there and run and kick a ball, but to really play and be good, you have to focus on the ball, on the job at hand and on the goal. My Keiferman played and he would focus so much, he didn't hear the people on the side line screaming and yelling...I'd say did you hear me hollering at you, and he'd say NO, I was too focused to hear anything but myself thinking about my next move. Sports like baseball and soccer takes an extreme amount of focus. Keifer took Choi Kwang Do when he was younger, but loved the challenge of soccer more.
I hope if he loves Kang Do, he will stick to it and reach his goal, if that is his choice.
Sorry I haven't been around much lately, been on the go and taking care of DH. He's having those bad headaches again.Marjorie (Molly) Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08876434453158175693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34486160.post-6205664479172901292010-03-18T11:25:48.804-04:002010-03-18T11:25:48.804-04:00I like what Linda said, that it is a discipline, I...I like what Linda said, that it is a discipline, I tend to agree with her. I think it is good to have kids with ADHD to get involved in sports, activities, disciplines, whatever. I do think it helps them as long as it isn't too frustrating for all involved. At first glance it seems he is stretching and getting ready for class, but looking at the other kids, we see his mind is elsewhere. What he is learning here will be much more helpful than soccer and hurtful sports. I wonder how he would react to a bunch of football players chasing him and knocking him down? That might be terrifying - more so than the dentist!ClassyChassyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12645241442596037812noreply@blogger.com
