"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

I am not a Buddhist, but that doesn't mean you can't learn something from their beliefs, just like they could learn something from our beliefs.

Meditation is one thing we can learn from them. It's good for us, it keeps our mind clear, and our bodies healthy. I look at it as a way to slow down and think. It helps with stress.

What we call world is only an opinion. Take away your opinions - your conditions - your situations -- then your mind is clear like space.

Clear like space means clear like a mirror. A mirror reflects everything: the sky is blue,
tree is green, sugar is sweet.

If your mind is clear like space, then you see clearly, hear clearly, smell clearly -- everything clear.

That is dharma. That is truth.

Love,
Chatty
