I don't have to worry about losing the google page - I have a lot of help here at home! Lol
I sure have with my blogging friends ( and some men friends too!)
I know this is true!
And this is from Sheila:
Dave feared his wife Peg wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid. So, not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family Doctor to discuss the problem.
The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could perform to give the Doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.
Here's what you do,' said the Doctor, 'stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking volume see if she hears you. If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response.'
That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the den. He says to himself, 'I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens.
Then in a normal voice he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?
No response.....
So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, 'Peg, what's for dinner?'
Still no response.
Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his Wife and asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?'
Again he gets no response.
So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away. 'Honey, what's for dinner?'
Again there is no response.
So he walks right up behind her. 'Peg, what's for dinner?'
'For crying out loud, Dave, for the FIFTH time, CHICKEN!'

Well I sure hope something tickled your funny bone today and I will see y'all on Monday.

ReplyDeletelove the baby oil and i don't have teens that know it all but i do have a hubby that does...
ReplyDeleteAlways a surprise here. A good read. This one hit home with the animals and bed. Once when back packing I got up in the middle of the night, went into the woods and came back, a fellow hikers wet dog was in my sleeping bag. true story! We did get a laugh out of it 'months' later. LOL
ReplyDeleteThansk for the entertainment.

ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and weekend. Big hugs. ☺
Absolutely love the one about the hearing test! I'm deaf and wear two hearing aides and with some people I could wear six (if I had six ears) and still not hear them!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I have had my suspicions about baby oil.

ReplyDeleteGood one for Friday again, Sandie!!!
ReplyDeleteOne, the finding girl friends, reminded me of my mom. When I was young and single, and then again thirteen years later, Mom would tell me, "You don't find nice girls in bars."
Well, at least I didn't disappoint her although I did find Mrs. Jim waiting for me (It didn't know her or that she was waiting for me) at a monthly dinner the apartment lady gave. My roommate's girl friend told her that I might come. About 90 minutes later I showed up to eat the plate they had saved for me.
What makes your jokes funny is that most are true
