Tuesday Tails

WHOA!!!!!!!!!  STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME???

DISCO!!

NO THIS IS NOT ME . . .

THIS IS ME - DISCO!  WITH SANTA CLAUS (my boy).
Photobucket

Isn't my boy cute - he looks just like me?

Okay I have been a naughty dog.

We opened Christmas gifts this year.  I've never been into Christmas much before.  This year was different!  I smelled some gifts that I knew were for me.  And what did I do?  I wouldn't let anyone else have any of my treats!!
I guarded them with my life.

I even growled and tried to bite my boy.  I need help!!!!

(Now you have to admit - I am naughty, but cute!)

Oh oh, Disco!

Cute photos, Sandie, and it is true about the blessings. We often focus instead on our misfortunes.

I'm mostly known as 'MA' said...

We all do have those blessings if we take the time to look. Glad Disco was blessed with those Christmas treats and hope they were not all eaten at once.

Love the photos--and the captions!

LOL Oh Disco, never try to bite the hand that feeds you, or pets you or hugs you!
I know you didn't mean it :)

That Disco!! I think it is a natural response that they growl like that, Sandie. Koda has done that for a few of his treats, not all of them, but there are some that he is very protective about for some reason or another. Others I could take out of his mouth while he was chewing them and he wouldn't "bat an eye" but others, watch out and with him you never know. So if he gets protective about one, I just leave him alone since for him it is rare and far apart (hasn't happened now that I think about it since we moved down here).

Otherwise, cute pictures!! Those did look like a nice tray of cookies for Disco!

Hey Disco, I feel the same way about chocolate when I'm PMSing. I suggest you hide it deep in the pantry, and sneak in there to eat when no one is looking. That way you won't have to share.

That happens sometimes Disco....don't let it bother you....you were just caught up in the excitement!

Dear Disco,
If a gift is given, it belongs to the one it was given to. "Auntie" sezzzzzz...

So no one should expect a doggie, to share his treats. "Auntie" sezzzzzz...

This should be a lesson for your Boy. A doggies is not a person, and can not be expected to learn to "share." Especially FOOD. "Auntie" sezzzzzz...

Ahhhh yes, learning is everywhere! Even under the Christmas tree!

Its okay Disco, your boy will forgive you if no one else does.

Okay I'm talking to a dog now! I must be Dr. Doolittle! LOL

Have a good day Disco, no one's forgotten you!!!

It's OK to be naughty if you're cute. :)

Cute... I wrapped bones for my daughters dog...she put them under the tree...she layed and whined...until daughter let her have one...finally the gift was removed from under the tree:))

Hey, I've taken a few nips at those who would insist upon making sure that I have a present that is actually meant for me!

Cute post, Sandie... Disco is truly in charge at your house.... Dogs do get very protective of their 'stuff' ...

Disco, I growl if anybody tries to get my chocolate chips!! And you do have a beautiful boy. But I'm thinking you might try to control yourself cause he looks like somebody you need to hold on to.

Jackie said...

Oh my goodness not the Disco Duck...now my mind is trying to remember the tune.

Oh yes your boy was naughty but oh he's way too cute to get in trouble!

LOL...he's determined not to let anyone have those goodies. That's for sure!!

I love it Sandy. As always thanks for the laugh!

Uh oh, Disco! We have a dog who is naughty and guards his treats from others like that too. He's not real big on sharing. Ha! Cute post, Sandie!

Gina said...

Oh Disco, what are we going to do with you?

Merlesworld said...

I have never known a dog who doesn't guard his treats my daughters dog who visits a lot always looks like he is starving when you are eating until you flick him a bit but never once does he offer me any of his kibble bones or treats.

Uh oh, hopefully nobody tried to take them! (surely you didn't eat all those in one sitting, but that IS where those extra holiday pounds come from, ya know)

My comment is probably WAY off the train of thought. But, I feel sometimes just like that duck! So happy I could dance...then, I realize I'm old and things get really slippery!

I DO tend to guard my chocolate treats. =). But, I'd share with you!

How adorable is Disco?!? I love that shot of him guarding his treats. Sad to imagine his prior life when, I'm guessing, no-one thought to include him. Bless you!!!

Got a chuckle out of the duck pic! Love the blessings saying too:@)

Ann said...

Aw Disco you are cute. Duke has done the same thing with a few things I've gotten him. I used to get him the really big soup bones but he growled at all of us if we got to close. No more of those for him.

Angela said...

You are so hilarious Disco! So funny of you to guard your treats like that! lol I can remember when my chihuahua would open her presents under the tree. I would wrap something up and put it under there without her knowing. She would somehow smell it and go straight to it and open it up before Christmas! lol

Oh Disco---
I know those cookies were good- but you need to learn to share.

If those were my treats, but for humans, I'd guard them with my life like that too. In this house you have to!

Cute post, Disco. I got a box of Turtles, one of my favorites, and I didn't want to share, either! Nice quote by Dickens.

Very cute Sandie. (Or Disco...) I love the smile on GS's face in them. He always looks like he has just heard something funny and can't wait to tell you. Is he like that IRL?

And the Dickens quote gets two thumbs up, too.

The boy and the Disco are too cute and they do bear a slight resemblance. Poor Disco. Can you imagine smelling all that yumminess and not getting in a bit of trouble? I get it; I so get it.
