"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

So how responsible are we for the choices we make in life?

"You carry heaven and hell with you. You don't have to be miserable. Every second of your life, you can choose between heaven and hell.
Be still for a moment and breathe. Then choose heaven. It's there for you. Every second of your life." - Sri Ramana Maharshi

Now I really like this because it feels like it gives me power to run my own life. Do I do it? Do I follow this advice? Not as much as I'd like too. I start out with that thought and early in the the morning I'm ready to chose Heavenly thoughts, then my life gets in the way!

We just have to keep on trying to get things right!

Love,
Chatty
