"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

For some reason I can't send You Tube to my Blog these days, so if you're interested I have some songs you can click on, by Lonestar.

Mountains
Lucinda Jones working at the IHOP:
Ten years worth of bacon, eggs, and tears.
She's waited on every creed and color
While waiting on this day to get here.
Graveyard shifts, two bit tips,
Making every quarter count.
It's worth it all to see her son in that cap and gown.

There are times in life when you gotta crawl,
Lose your grip, trip and fall
When you can't lean on no one else,
That's when you find yourself
I've been around and I've noticed that
Walk-in's easy when the road is flat
Them danged 'ole hills will get you every time.
Yeah, the good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb

Private Bobby Dunn came back from the war,
Lost his leg but they couldn't take his will.
Hell bent to run in that local marathon.
He trained through the endless pain and pills
It hurt so bad that sometimes he just had to cry.
He didn't stop until he crossed that finish line.

There are times in life when you gotta crawl,
Lose your grip, trip and fall
When you can't lean on no one else,
That's when you find yourself
I've been around and I've noticed that
Walk-in's easy when the road is flat
Them danged 'ole hills will get you every time.
Yeah, the good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb

This world ain't fair
It can knock you on your butt
You can just lie there or you can get back up
You gotta get back up

There are times in life when you gotta crawl,
Lose your grip, trip and fall
When you can't lean on no one else,
That's when you find yourself
I've been around and I've noticed that
Walk-in's easy when the road is flat
Them danged 'ole hills will get you every time.
Yeah, the good Lord gave us mountains so we could learn how to climb
Yeah, oh

The women's feminine spirit needs to be acknowledged by the masculine, and the masculine spirit needs to be acknowledged by the feminine. I think they kind of do that in some of their music.

Now both the feminine spirit and the masculine spirit work extremely hard. Of course each with different issues and in different ways. We're both strong and we're both weak. We both work hard and we both get tired. We both have passions. All experience different issues and all are expressed in different ways. And it's all okay!

What am I saying here? I think when that both the masculine and the feminine spirit is recognized, accepted, and nurtured in a relationship, things can go amazingly well, when it's not recognized, accepted, or nurtured in a relationship, things tend to go awry. Bottom line I think we need to address both the masculine and feminine spirits within us - we have both. We probably address the side that we are - for example - I'm a women so the feminine spirit is easier, but when I address some of my masculine spirits - I'm a more well rounded person. It's a personal transformation - a wedding of the two if you will that makes a person complete. No, I'm
not there yet, but I'm working on it.

An obstacle to the wedding is that we give ourselves away. Chose to be your authentic self. Once you find yourself authentic self - whoever you are with - male or female - then you can be who you really are and you don't have to give who you are away and be someone else.

Just Chatty thinkin'
