"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

Tuesday's Theories on failing . . .

How Does One Fail?

Does failure make you hide from getting out there and living?

Or is it fear of failing that forces you to get out there and live?

What are you afraid of failing at?

Life is filled with failures - some small and some big.

Should we love the failures in our life?

What do failures teach us?

We could choose to look at each failure as an opportunity as a teacher so we can do something better the next time around.

We manage our own life. We make our fate.

Don't worry about the problems – don’t be afraid to fail.

There are 3 kinds of people -

Those that make things happen;

Those that watch things happen; and

Those that wonder what happened!

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg." – C. S. Lewis
This is one thing I think is true for learning from our failures - it's deep, but here goes. If you are asleep, overwhelmed, uninterested, scared, close minded, too busy, too tired, not interested in changing and growing - then you won't learn from your failures. You won't learn from your successes either.
