Mother Teresa

I was just talking this week to a new friend about Mother Teresa, Mother Teresa I'm not, but she is such a good role model to aspire to.

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."
-Mother Teresa

And I say the opposite is true as well. Mean words can be short or long and easy or hard to speak, and their echoes are TRULY endless as well.

Think nice, speak nice, act nice, be nice.
Chatty

Kindly words, sympathizing attentions, watchfulness against wounding men's sensitiveness--these cost very little, but they are priceless in their value.

Words so true, so true today!
A little kindness and tact goes a long, long way. And, folks need the reminder that unkindness, and harsh words are long remembered too.
It's hard not to, but would healthier if we didn't remember so much.

Hi Chatty, I really liked your quotes and just finished writing them down in my journal...spoken words are huge!
Coincidentally, just the other day I read a sentence prayer from Mother Teresa that I also added in my journal. It reminded me of how you live your life, Angel Girl ~
"Lord, grant that I may seek to comfort rather than be comforted; to love rather than be loved."
