Grateful Gardeners

Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.
-Marcel Proust

This week has been crazy. It snowed on Sunday (lasted on the ground a couple of hours), today is in the 60's and tomorrow the 70's - so I'm thinking spring and gardening.

I'm thinking of all my friends (old and new) and the people who I'm meeting on the Blog, the sun shine, the trees here have started to bloom - the white pear trees, the grass is starting to turn green . . .

I remember what my mom always told me - I think that is one reason we moved back to Atlanta, "Spring time in Atlanta is not a season, it is a blessing". By April we have the most beautiful spring you'll ever see - it's gorgeous.

So many blessings and all I have to do is keep my eyes wide open.

Love, Chatty

Yes, you don't want to miss a minute of spring! We don't have a "pretty" one, but it's still very nice to hear the birdies all cheeping happily and watch the squirrels come frisking into the trees...

Hey it's 61 out there today, and I enjoyed doing some raking and catching some rays!
Whoowee baby, feels like Spring!
You have blooms already? Wow!
That is when our town is the prettiest. They planted Pear trees all over, lining the streets...springtime is incredibly beautiful here. Wish you could see it.

For some reason spring in Southern California it is just not the same.
I long for the springs that bring out the best in the human nature, the springs that make people fall in love for that spring “magic” in the air…
Take some picture and share your blessing with the rest of us :)

PS: I’m looking for the book. I’ll let you know after I read it. Thanks!
