Our journey . . .

If you don't have the time to do something right, where are you going to find the time to fix it?
-Stephen King

Feeling Groovy by Simon and Garfunkel-
Slow down, you move too fast, you've got to make the morning last
Just kickin' down the cobble-stones, lookin' for fun and feelin' groovy

Feeling groovy

Hello lamp-post, what's cha knowing, I've come to watch your flowers growin'
Ain't cha got no rhymes for me, do-it-do-do, feelin' groovy

Feeling groovy

I've got no deeds to do, no promises to keep
I'm dappled and drowsy and ready to sleep
Let the morning time drop all its petals on me

Life I love you, all is groovy
Have a groovy day,
Chatty

I really enjoy their "Bridge Over Troubled Water" song and also "The Boxer," when I'm in a somber mood, too.

Come to think of it - they sang the song track for The Graduate.
The songs in our lives, do remember when. It came out at the same time I was dating my first love.
The movie theater had just opened at Lenox Sqaure here and they played that movie many times and we saw it many times!
I like Bridge Over Troubled Water too.

Memory Lane today...love it.
Always liked S&G, and their music.
My gosh, groovy used to be such a buzz word, and said for everything.
Cool, neat, groovy, were a big part of my vocab back in the day.
Neat post today.
Thanks, and hope all is well your way dear girl.

JeanMac -

If you can't do it all day - try for just a minute - it would be really good for you.
