For 2018

"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

I have a blog friend (ahem - lol) who has set up this meme (I didn't even know what one was until now - do you know its pronounced like cream and not me me?) and she asked me to join it.

I figured I'd give it a shot as I'm always (?) wanting to grow and learn.

My problem is that I'm a middle-ager living the life of a mother - or I have the time of a mother if you know what I mean. My daughter and her grandson live here and are both home for the summer. So I'm running with them to White Water, movies, bowling, etc - so my projects are far and few in between, however - I do do little things so I'm going to start with 'little' projects.

So join Expressly Corgi and the others and see what we 'R' getting done.

Actually as this has taken me about 15 minutes of stress and frustration (haha) to figure this out so technically I could count this as my first Get R' Done Friday! But here I go!

I purchased two more totes from Classy Chassy. She sent me two surprises with the totes!

One was an iron on patch for my grandson's shirt and the other was a needle point that says Color Me Beautiful (thank you by the way).

My grandson had to put it on a black shirt even though we had plenty of red ones. So off I went to Wally World and got a black one. After all he wants to be a black belt and is an orange blet already. Made sense to me. This is a picture of a Choi Kwang Do Monkey.

So I got it ironed on where 'he' wanted it on a black shirt so here it is - plus the two totes. She made one for my daughter a teacher and one for my grandson his Choi Kwang Do bag. They are awesome by the way.
This is an awful picture and doens't quite look this way, but in the four person office we have - complete with 3 computers - we all have a wall. My wall faces east and gets a lot of BLINDING sunlight so my husband put some window darkeners under the shades for me so I won't lose my eyesight! This is Chatty's desk and my wall - I should have taken a picture of what is on my wall - but that can be another project.

And walla - here is where I put her needlepoint - to remind me everyday how beautiful I am (lordy lordy). It's right in the middle section of the window over my computer! I see it all the time.

So thanks Classy - in more ways than one (lol)!

Love ya though.
