Get R Done Friday

GET R DONE FRIDAY - check out the Blog of Expressly Corgi

Okay here goes. I'm allergic to animals. It's so sad because I love them - I really do. I want a dog - especially a pug. My grandson and daughter feel the same way and I'm the hold up. But I am not caving in - no more hairy pets!

So I'm thinking to myself - what can we have here in terms of pets? Well, I got the bird feeder up last week (painfully - lol) and we're watching the birds which has turned out to be really awesome. I'm hoping to get more the longer it's out.

But alas, what else can we get?

We got a hamster and the darn thing bit me and no one else would handle it so we took it back.

Large turtles stink. No snakes or iguanas. Birds are kind of dirty. Were we doomed to a life without pets?

No way.

We are now the proud owners of 2 baby turtles - Hugs and Kisses.

And two dwarf frogs - Shaggy and Scooby!

Now the problem is this - my grandson will pick up the turtles some -but mainly these critters are mine! So these are Chatty's pets. Not too bad really though and they are fun to watch.

The Get R Done part is the fact I got the pet problem done! I'm a mess with projects.

Remember to check out the professionals :) at Expressly Corgi

Love,

Chatty

My goodness - you have PETS! Congratulations! They are not hairy, so no allergies! Too bad the hamster failed...that might have been an interesting creature for you to have. You had not mentioned that you got one to try out. I'm the critter expert, and could have given you solutions to try with it...tsk tsk tsk! But, it seems you 'got r done' in a different way! Have fun! Let me know how it goes!

Gosh, it's been years since I have seen a frog! Or anything other than a desert box turtle. Our neighbor had a turtle take up residence in his yard and live for years. When they sat out on the patio, here would come ol' Slowpoke to get a treat! He could leave if he wanted but I guess he knew where he had it good.
