IT'S SNOW TIME IN GEORGIA

We are witnessing something that rarely happens in Georgia during the winter - even more rare this is our second snow and this is going to be a big one! This is only one hour into it. Everything is going to be closed this weekend - trust me. Bet the lines are long at the grocery stores too.

It's Georgia they close up everything just at the 'thought' of snow! Still it is pretty!

Isn't it just gorgeous! I can say that now that my husbands plane landed before it started! He's been in PA all week in the snow up there and we were worried that his flight would be cancelled there but it wasn't! Enjoy it! I think it's time for some chili:)

It looks so pretty! Our snow has stopped now - must have been diverted to your state! We're still very cold here, however.

How beautiful is that! Your so lucky to get snow. Up in the Blue Mountains it sometimes snows, then we all rush up only to find most of it had melted away.

Hey Sandie!

Cool! You've got to make sure you take hundreds of pictures of that white stuff becauce who knows when you will get some more gain! But on the other hand you might start getting snow on a regular basis because of the Global Warming! hehehe

Don't forget to try to use a card board box or some thick plastic as a sled for Andy to sleigh ride with! You could even use a heavy trash bag. I've seen kids on the news around here doing it that way.

Hugs,
Angela

Congratulations on the snow, Sandie! This week we had a storm (that wasn't). Nary a flake. Now I know what happened to the snow.....it got sent to Georgia. ENJOY! Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

Such an odd winter we're having. Many areas that rarely get snow have had more than we've had here in SE Michigan.

Stay safe and enjoy it.

If I haven't told you before, I love your blog. I caught up on my reading of your last few posts and am still chuckling. :)

What great fun for Andy, huh?

Oh my gosh Sandie, I wondered how y'all were doing with this weather. I hope Andy and all the rest of you have fun playing in the snow and hope it's not so bad that you can't get out there and have a little fun. And hot cocoa after. Or a cup of tea!! Take care, stay warm.

We Southerns are getting used to these little snows...lol...they are getting more and more frequent. Our weatherman said tonight that the only US State that wasn't getting snow somewhere in them was Hawaii.
How cool is that?
Love your picture, hope Andy enjoyed playing in it.

I hope you get to stay home, not got anywhere. just sit and stare.
maybe feed the birds and throw peanuts to the squirrels and have a cup of coco- while you sit all snuggly.

Hope you were stocked up! They close things down in our town if we get 1/2 inch of snow which only happens once every 3-4 years if THAT much.
