I can't have a pet. I have tried 3 times and have broken my children's (and my own) hearts and I just can't do it anymore. So I live vicariously through my friends with animals, blogs, and videos. Now all you Corgi lovers have turned me into Corgi lovers - but I also love the pugs - so you have shown me Corgi's and now I am going to show you Pugs.

ReplyDeleteso sorry you can't have a pet (I know the allergies prevent you from having one); I know it is hard when family, especially young ones, want one.

I love the peacock! My grandmother raised a number of unusual "pets" including peacocks. When we would spend the night we would hear roosters, doves and peacocks. They also had a mynah bird, bird dogs, a skunk, bees, a bob cat, dog and a couple of cats.

That pug looks like our Buddy Lee Pickles Smith...lol..quite a mouthful for a name. He is so bad. I just love little pugs, they remind me of an over grown slug....lol...

It is difficult to live with allergies, I have chemical allergies which keep me from so many things, so I understand your difficulties of not being able to have your own pet, I am blessed pets are about the only thing I am not allergic to. ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. This little pug is precious. I have a Boston Terrier (he's in my side scroll bar on my blog), and he looks to be about the size of this little pug. They are somewhat similar. I just adore him. He can't swim a lick he sinks to the bottom of the pool like a rock.
Sorry you cannot have pets, as we would be so lost without one. They are such good theraphy for us.

ReplyDeleteAllergies and pets are not a good mix. We purchased a dog with hair instead of fur and that actually worked. I could never ever handle living with a cat. Now the Pug and his swimming lessons was cute but I bet he was happy to be out of the water after all of that:)
