Show and Tail
This is my Tuesday's entry for Angela's Show and Tail - please visit her and join us telling a pet story of your own or an interesting story about animals.
This is a bird dancing to a Ray Charles song - we all need to get up and dance!
Happy Birthday to Martha Stewart - wikipedia
Martha Helen Stewart (born August 3, 1941) is an American business magnate, television host, author, and magazine publisher. As founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, she has gained success through a variety of business ventures, encompassing publishing, broadcasting, and merchandising. Stewart's syndicated talk show, Martha, is broadcast throughout the world, she has written numerous bestselling books, and she is the publisher of Martha Stewart Living magazine.
In 2001, Stewart was named the third most powerful woman in America by Ladies Home Journal. In 2004, she was convicted of lying to investigators about a stock sale and served five months in prison. Stewart began a comeback campaign in 2005, with her company returning to profitability in 2006.
Okay - now I ask you to be TRUTHFUL - if you were given a stock tip that the stocks you had were going to go down - wouldn't you have traded them?
I would have. Honestly.

So cute!!!!!! :)

I would have done the same thing too!! Martha is very talented. I just wish I was half as crafty.
That bird has TALENT!
Hi Sandie~I sure wished I could get my cat to dance like that.
I adore Martha's craft supplies at Michaels.
Are we privy to how old she is?
Sweet wishes,
Sara
I don't know what I would have done, but I have always felt that she was "taken down" because of a lot of jealousy.
She is a very talented lady!
Happy Birthday to her.
And... oh, the dancing bird! How funny and cute!
Oh, Sandie, that bird was hilarious. I never saw anything like that! Susan
Martha Stewart got the shaft as most women do! Most criminals reside in the government in the USA! Happy birthday to her!
That bird was cracking me up! Those big birds are so smart!
I laughed a lot here otday! Thanks for sharing. Anne
Yep, I would've (traded), too! All said, I think MS is a classy gal.
where did that bird go for dance lessons? thanks for your comment on my blog re playhouse. our granddaughter's 2nd. birthday is tomorrow. didn't think it would get done. Take care. Rose
Hey dancing bird...so good!!!
Would I have traded reducing stocks...NO!! I'd buy more. Everyone knows the stocks fall at times but never stay that way. Its the time to buy not bet rid of..
I don't deal with stock any more, getting older now.
Real estate is the best way to go.
Hi Sandie, I have seen Frostie before, love him!
I don't think I would have sold my stock if I had known, but maybe I would have. I am not in her realm of wealth and power so who knows..I think they stuck it to her because of her celebrity but she came out of it smellin like a rose..who's to say really..she is talented though!
hugs
Barb
Yep, I am quite sure that Mr. Charles had something like that in mind while he was singing that song.
I love that clip!
I think most of us would have done the same thing in Martha's shoes. As talented as she is at marketing her ideas and at her crafts, there is something standoffish about her. I am guessing that and her wealth made her a target for some.
It isn't an equal playing field, but it isn't always male vs female. Some of her strongest detractors were women.
I love to watch dancing birds. They really seem to enjoy the music, don’t they! I know NOTHING about stocks and trading and never did understand what she really did wrong. If you know something’s going wrong somewhere, it only seems smart to try to do something about it, and I don’t see why it is illegal. Like I said, I don’t understand the whole thing.
Hey Sandie!
That is one talented bird! And did you know that Martha did her time in West Virginia? She did and I really wanted to go to see her but it was on the other side of West Virginia from where I live.
Tuesdays' Show & Tail!
