Disney World Market, Lego Store, and Rainforest Cafe

The second day of our trip we hit the Disney Market Place. It was amazing. We spent most of the day in one particle store - The Lego Store! I mean it was fascinating and had many hands on experiences. They let him build things, play computer, and have car races with the Lego cars he made. It was a wow experience.

??

Woody
??
Playing on the computer and building items.
The dragon goes on out in the water with a tail that is very long.
I'm not sure who this guy is - maybe Spiderman?
We are heading down the road to dinner.
We ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
They had real birds there.
Real snakes? (lol)

Rescue the World.
We had a great day - doing nothing but playing Lego's!

Love,

Sandie

This is the great blessing of taking a child on a trip...makes you slow down and really enjoy something rather than trying to see everything there is. I think I need to go to lego land.

Three of my grandkids favorite things plus I love the Rainforest cafes. The ones I have been to do not have live animals.

Hey Sandie!

Lego World looks amazing! I'm sure Andy loved every minute of that! I know my Little Man would love to play in there for hours and hours. They would probably have to kick us out because we had been there too long! lol

Hugs,
Angela

Looks fascinating! I saw something on the news this week about adults and legos--would love to try my hand at it! I'm assuming you are at Disney World. That's one of the biggies on my wishlist. Enjoy your vacation!

Oh, wow! I'm loving these pictures! And it looks like your grandson made quite a haul! I've heard of that Rainforest place, but you didn't tell us what you ate or show pictures, boo hoo!! The Lego creations are amazing, you got lots of good picture variety. My favorite would have to be the dragon! I'm betting that's a fake snake!

Hi Sandie...WAS that snake real? I liked the dragon the best. And, of course, GS. Also loved the quote and try to live it! Take care. Susan

Sounds like you guys had a blast! I remember taking Christie to the Los Angeles Children's museum and that was a hands-on place too - we both loved it ;-)

Nice photos! I love that quote! I'm going to remember that and place it inside the wooden Treasure chest that I ordered from my friend Arlene so that I can send it to my sister in Germany and her man as a gift for them (and their home) for Christmas.

Who would have ever thought that a little kid toy would have become so popular?

We live less than 80 miles from Legoland, Ca. I've never been there but most of my kids and grandkid have. :-)

That looks like a lot of fun. I've never been to Dismey World and would love to go. I'd need to pack an empty suitcase and a carpet bag full of money to spend!

I like how the Lego store had so many things to keep one busy without spending any money(assuming one doesn't buy any Legos on the way out :) sounds like a neat experience for GS and maybe a good time for you guys to get a break from the hustliing and bustling around of sightseeing. The Rain Forest is a fun place to go to. What did you have to eat? I like their jungle cobb salad. I'm thinking Disney World Market must be a lot like Downtown Disney here, lots of shops?

Great holiday for you and GS. What kid doesn't love lego!!! BTW, the character you identified as possibly Spiderman looks more like one of the Transformers to me.

I would love this - I love to play... why don't we do this more often! Jennifer

wow == I want to go to the Lego Store. Looks like you enjoyed the Rainforest Cafe. We went to one in Atlantic City this road trip and there was a family sitting by us with toddlers -- who were scared to death by the noise, the monkeys and the flashing lights. I felt sorry for the parents -- obviously they thought they were giving the kids a treat and the kids hated it. (They were too young). But it kind of spoiled it for us.
