Monday Musings

Just taking it slow this morning, my grandson has half day all week so I know this afternoon will be busy. Disco (dog) will be so happy.

I want to say hello and good morning to all my friends in blogland!

I don't know if you remember or not about a year ago - my wonderful sister had twins. A boy and a girl. She asked if my husband and I would be God parents - we said yes - right away (if she wanted old fart ones) and she said yes.

They live rather far away :( but they are so cute. I just had to share. Wish i was there and good give them some of the 'snuggles' I was talking about yesterday. It seems to me kids get their share of snuggles and the older you get the less snuggles you get.

Anyway I wanted to share a couple of pictures of them now.

Are they not precious - they are such a gift from God! All children are - just ask a grandmother.

Want a sure fire way to beat depression - and I know it works:

"Develop interest in life as you see it;
in people, things, literature, music--
the world is so rich,
simply throbbingwith rich treasures,
beautiful souls,and interesting people.
Forget yourself."
~ Henry Miller

And I love this one too:

“Changing the world is good for those who want their names in books. But being happy, that is for those who write their names in the lives of others, and hold the hearts of others as the treasure most dear.” —Orson Scott Card

Oh my goodness, yes. They are precious! My favorite shot is the Shrek and *Princess Shrek*! (can't remember the character name)

Have fun with the grandson!

Your grandbabies are adorable!!! And great quotes as usual. Hmmm...that dog doesn't have a monkey on his back, but he does have a huge spider on it!!

Oh Sandie...Darling little babies. Loved all today's quotes, too.

Could not for the life of me do the jumping frog exercise. Just couldn't figure it out but it sure was fun.

Take care. It's almost 11 p.m and I'm just getting to read blogs. Soooo tired. Bye bye. Susan

Yep, you've got a couple of cuties there. Now, go do your auntly duty and spoil them rotten! (Just remember all of the bad stuff your sister did to you years ago if you start having any qualms.)

They are just totally precious!!! Ask them to get a recorder and get them laughing and record it for you... THAT is another SURE way to get rid of depression - listening to baby's laughing! :)
