Thursday Inspirations . . .what I'm thinking about today...

Rod Steward was the grave digger before he was a singer. Hard to imagine I know.

What am I thinking about today - Halloween of course - just because it is fun. I 'heard it through the grape vine' that it was going to be really fun this year. lol

Believe it or not this is a Halloween card - a good one. Pincha aqui

Increase Brain Blood Flow with This Chocolaty Treat By RealAge

There is a hot chocolate recipe and some facts on laughter.

Laugh, and you may keep your arteries healthy. Why? Cracking up relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow -- the exact opposite of what happens when you're tense. When people with normal blood pressure watch a funny movie, their blood flow increases by about 20%. But when they watch an intense, violent film, they get stressed out, their blood vessels constrict, and their blood flow decreases by about 35%.

A lot to do about nothing today. Oh here are some things to think about ~

"If you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time, and you would achieve nothing." ~ Margaret Thatcher

"Life is sweet, Life is all so very short, Life is sweet." ~ Natalie Merchant

"One big reason I do what I do is there's no two days alike. It's not work for me. It's my life. My passion." ~ Emeril Lagasse (ME TOO SAYS CHATTY)

Really interesting facts about blood flow! So I guess to be in top form, we need to drink a strong cup of hot chocolate while watching a funny movie. Gosh, I wonder what being SCARED does to your blood flow!! Probably stops it altogether! Hnmmm...perhaps that's why zombies are so brainless.

that was a cute card! now I'm going to have that song stuck in my head all afternoon :)

I liked that quote about life. Life is sweet, life is all so short, life is sweet.

Life will always have its problems, Jesus said it would, but generally speaking life really is so very nice and sweet if we set our hearts on the right things (Jesus, love, family, etc)

I really liked that quote :)

Love that song, and Rod Stewart too! Saw him at a concert at Jones Beach here on L.I.

What fun I had wandering around in your thoughts! Loved the stuff about laughter. Now when someone takes notice of my cackling, I can say, "Hey. I'm just keeping the arteries healthy...!"

I liked the Margaret Thatcher quote the best. Why, you ask (you asked, didn't you? Tell me you asked...)
Where was I? Oh yeah, I liked it because it challenged me to stop worrying about what other people think. Take a stand, stick with it, and full speed ahead!"

Hope you had a good Thursday!

(sent an email back to you :)

what an awesome post Sandie, I was laughing so hard, you made my day.

I loved all the jokes, I thought that murder one was because they all had their name on their uniform except for the fireman, haha. I was wrong!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
