Sunday's Gift to you . . .

Just a reminder - I'm running a giveaway - see November 3rd's blog. And I have to remind you - you must be a follower of my blog to enter (and it's never too late - lol). Thanks and good luck to everyone. It is a $55.00 gift certificate to CSN!

Do you remember the things you were worrying about a year ago? Didn't you waste a lot of fruitless energy on account of most of them? Didn't most of them turn out all right after all? Do you remember the things you were worrying about a year ago? Didn't you waste a lot of fruitless energy on account of most of them? Didn't most of them turn out all right after all?
- Dale Carnegie

Again this is how I come to peace - I see these things that God creates - and while I don't understand the whys of everything - and that is okay - I know he's there - NO ONE can convince me all this happened by accident.

As I am still waiting for my grandson who is late - due November 4th - I also think about a new born baby - everything we have but miniature - another miracle of life.

And a joke sent to me by my friend Jerry -

A little boy was waiting for his mother to come out of the grocery Store. As he waited, he was approached by a man who asked, "Son, can you tell me where the Post Office is?"

The little boy replied, "Sure! Just go straight down this street a coupla blocks and turn to your right."

The man thanked the boy kindly and said, "I'm the new pastor in town. I'd like for you to come to church on Sunday. I'll show you how to get to Heaven."

The little boy replied with a chuckle. "Awww, come on...You don't even know the way to the Post Office."

This is something to laugh at, especially at the innocence and naivety of a young boy showing that his outspoken reply was straight from his heart.

Sure hope that you'll be getting a happy call very soon, with baby and mamma/daddy all well and happy.
I do believe, that my worries today are exactly the same worries that I had a year ago sadly!

Sandie - That was the most beautiful video and song. My husband and I watched it together. During it, I was just praying that God would speak to his heart. I was in tears at the end...

God is just so awesome, and his world (even though it's flawed) is so beautiful! I can't imagine what it will be like when it's restored to its perfection!

Thanks for sharing - GOD BLESS!

Dale had it right, don't waste so much time worrying about things; do something about them!
