Tuesdays Show and tail . . .

Whatever else you do today - don't forget to vote.

I am joining my friend Angela at West Virginia Treasures for her weekly group discussing of animal or pet stories.  You hear a lot of interesting things on there and meet a lot of nice gals - so go visit and join us.

Well this is a good one for me - I'm tired today - I didn't sleep well last night - I usually don't have any problems, but today I am tired!  Of course it is gloomy and raining and I have a dental appointment - all those things add to it.  lol   The grandson is home because schools are closed so we can vote so I can't take a nap. He's raring to go and singing in the background. I feel like I have a hangover and I don't drink.

So here are some animal pictures.  They are tired too.

If you're an animal you can go to sleep anywhere!  How lucky - right?  Well sometimes yes and sometimes no.

I think I feel like this last one - I'm on the computer, but it's hard to keep my eyes open!!!!!!!!!!!!
My little grandson goes to bed with my energy then I get up with!  Sheeze!

So do you ever feel like one of these tired creatures?

Love the voting Maxine's! It is so true you know! You never know what you are going to get and with there not being term limits once they get in you have a booger of a time getting them out!

I'm tired today too! It's almost 11 and half the day is already over.... Love the pictures of the animals sleeping. Just look at how sweet that little squirrel looks sleeping on the tree branch! hehehe

Hope you get to take a nap!

HAHAHA, It's certainly the right time to pick a turkey! Maxine is so right on!

And yes, I've felt that tired before. But I must say, I've never seen a sleeping squirrel before! I thought they NEVER slept, LOL, they're always bouncing everywhere.

And how do those cats do it? They just sleep in any position!

I love those photos!!! I think the cat in the food bowl is my favorite!!

How funny that y'all's schools close for voting. I voted this morning, and I vote at an elementary school...school was in session.

I haven't been sleeping well at night either lately...mostly because I get too cold in the middle of the night and my muscles begin cramping up. Which means...I get up at 5:30 with my dogs, but after feeding them and letting them out, I go back to bed until about 7:30. No wonder I'm not getting the computer time I'm used to getting. During the summer, when it's light at 5:15, I'm up and on the computer early. Now, I seem to be behind the 8 ball all day long.

Hope you can get a nap in this afternoon.

Love,
Patti

I have a picture of a sleepy squirrel in my yard, too! Neat!
Love all the cute animals, and I'm sleepy, too, Sandie... are you contagious??? ;-)

I voted. I exercised my constitutional right and did it. Now I can go take a nap!

XO,

Sheila :-)

I can so relate to all of them, wish I could sleep like some of the animals, they look very content (especially the squirrel or chipmunk one). Hope you got a chance to at least rest for a few minutes, Sandie. I have sleepless nights so I understand trying to get through a day tired, plus then of course you have to be "chipper" with your GS. I bet you will sleep great tonight!!

funny how different states do things. I voted at an elementary school this morning and there was still school going on (they just keep the voting area way separated from the classes)

I am right there with you on feeling tired. Too many things on my mind have kept me from getting more than about 6 hoiurs total sleep in the last three nights. I hope that things are different - sleep-wise - for both of us tonight!

Insomnia - one of the little treasures I am enjoying at this stage of my life. Menopause - the gift that keeps giving.

LOVED the animal pictures!! I most closely identified with the squirrel - just some nut, too pooped to scurry.

Voted today - should be interesting to watch the news tonight (or depressing- never can tell)

xoxo

I think it is a really good idea to close the schools on an election day--especially if some of them are used for polling places. One of the places we have had to vote at in the past was a junior high school, and it was always really interesting trying to vote while school was in session.

By the way, do you remember a commercial a few years back about a polling place held in a school having their own Chad problem? I think it was for Mitsubishi Motors back in the winter of 2000, which was soon after all of the "stuff" about hanging chads down in Florida. Anyway, both my wife and I thought it was hysterical with some goofy guy zipping into a room where a bunch of older ladies were trying to manually count a stack of paper ballots, and he would mix all of their piles up before running back out of the room.

I hope you are full of zesty energy today, Sandie!! Love the Maxine voting cartoons... they aren't too far from the truth! LOL! The picture of the kitten sleeping on the rotweiler is priceless!
