Sunday

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. - Matthew 6:31-34

Okay this is the verse I am thinking about today. I am a little worried about my knee to be honest, but there is nothing really to worry about. It is in my mind! Worrying about infection and things like that, but I am telling myself today to have some more faith. I need and am going to put on those rose colored glasses to look out of!!

Anyway I want to say today is THANK YOU - you are all the best group of blogger friends ever.

You have been supportive and kind and loving and wonderful. You have been there for me - praying. And I just thank you sooooooooooooooooo much. I think you were a big part of my healing process.

So I will be back to blogging - going to take it slow - but again just wanting to thank you for everything today.

Love,
Sandie

I remind myself of that verse a lot too. :)
It's only natural to worry about your knee! I'm sure, though, that everything is going to be OK with it.
You have a lot of people praying for you.
Hope you have a great week. ♥

Hello Dear Sandie...Great quote. If I could follow it to the letter, everything'd be a-okay. Hope today is a GOOD day for you! Susan

Oh this verse is a powerful one! I was once told that worrying means we aren't trusting God...not sure I completely agree with that...after all he gave us the ability worry (LOL)...still it does bring up the trusting God for all...hope this helps with your healing. hugs, Linda

i saw that precious pup with the rose colored glasses and had to come on over. My husband is always telling me "that's all in your mind" sometimes it is and sometimes not. if you think you have infection is there a reason or do you just fear it might happen. if you think for a reason see the doc if not just read that verse over and over.

Sandie, as you well know, I'm a pretty big worrywart. So, I'll be praying for you (AND me) to trust the Lord, and rest easier in His care!

That picture looked SO much like Marty! It's not often that I see a beagle with his "long" snout! OK, when you're done with the rose-colored glasses, send them my way...

xoxo to you...

aw, Sandie, you are jus' the sweetest! After watchin' my mama go through this knee business- just do everything your doctor says and then cut yourself some slack. It does take time. You'll get there! Praying that you will have peace of mind and comfort for your fears!

I'm late with comments today, but It's not midnight yet!! We do need the rose colored glasses, but we need to be practical, as well. A good balance. Are you worried for a reason, are you still doing well? My friend who just got a new knee, it got infected. They just gave her anti-biotics and she was fine, she had caught it early.

One of my favorite quotes is: "Worry is a prayer for something you don't want." Trust in God and know that many have you in their prayers. It is going to be a great 2011.

You are such a sweet person, Sandie, how could we not care about you? I enjoy coming here and reading all your interesting and fun tidbits that you find for us to enjoy!

I love that photo of the doggy with the rose-colored glasses ;-)

I know that it will take some time to heal completely, but just think how nice it will feel to be pain free once more. Isn't modern medicine fantastic? I'm thankful for my new hips every day - no kidding, every single day!

You are loved, Sandie! Stand and believe because you have people praying, and those rose colored glasses are the way God sees things, too!

Praying for a speedy recovery!

Sandie, love always the stories and the pictures to go along with them. Dear one, I know how hard it can be not to worry. It is not easy. God is in control is what I keep on saying. Even though worrying still remains. Praying for you dear one.
