Monday Musings

First off -thanks for all your comments for the last couple of days - I really appreciate them.
And to let you know Debbie is doing the same.

Okay y'all this is what I try to tell myself . . .

God doesn't make orange juice; God makes oranges.
- Jesse Jackson

It's up to us to make orange juice - to do the work from what he gaves us- right?

We can make orange juice - a glaze - use the zest from the oranges - do a cleansing diet - we can cut it up and eat it as an orange. It is our free choice to do what we want with it , but we can't cry (guess we could but why?) if he doesn't do all the work and make it juice. . .

My cohort in crime - Jerry sent me this and I felt it needed to be looked it - it just moved me.

A little humor to start the week - (sometimes I can relate to this - can you?).

So kind of short and sweet (?) today. What are you going to do with your orange today?

I'm going to use the zest in something then eat the rest! Or in a practical answer - I feel God helped me get the knee replacement - it's my duty to take care of it - so I'm going to Physical Therapy today. lol

Hmmm, I'm allergic to oranges, so make mine a lemon and I'll make lemonade!

I only have orange juice. So I will drink some and think about the stories those oranges could tell. Where did their trip begin, who picked them, how did they get to their destinations, etc. You get the idea:)

My fingers and hands get all sticky when I peal an orange so I don't! BUT, I love the little "Cutie" brand of mandarin oranges which don't get my fingers all sticky.
Enjoyed your Blog today :-)

HI!!!
We are surrounded by oranges and orange trees in our neighborhood, so I often take them for granted, but I love them!!!
I sometimes grab one and peel it and eat it on my walks!
YUMMY!!!

You are so inspiring.

What will I do with my orange today? Mix the juice with my ice tea - making something creative out of it. Guess that's what I'm trying to do with my life, too!

Yes, I often feel like that cartoon, too - just don't tell my husband!

xoxo

Thanks for the update on Debbie - still praying for her.

Use my zest and eat the rest!! I just love that Sandie.

I do believe I'll look around here for some zest to take to school with me today. Lately, I feel that I'm lacking it. Your post (and YOU) are inspiring.

Heading to look for that orange now...

*And I love the one about the pledge, btw...*
