Wednesday - Hump Day . . .

"Breathe in, breathe out, move on." Jimmy Buffett

Okay - here is some more pictures of our trip to Pine Mountain, GA - Wild Animal Safari.

The first part of the adventure is where you drive though the park and feed the animals AND get slobbered on. Notice Chatty ALWAYS drives (with the window up). Now you might think it is because I am afraid of getting slobbered on. That's a little true - but I have a lot more patience then hubby does to stop with the kidlets to feed the animals. I stretch the trip out and hubby races through. (Thank goodness).

These cows are the worst of the slobbers! They are so big they could push the van over (I think).

The giraffes lean their long necks into the car for food. You would think they are soft and furry - but their hair is very bristly and their tongue is black to prevent sunburn because they eat so much is has to be out getting food a lot in the sun.

The little pigs were so cute. There were a bunch of them. They really didn't know how to eat that hard food yet.

Now these donkeys and zebras are quite pushy for food. They WILL bite if you hand them the food with your fingers.

They didn't give up easy. Either you have to throw it down their mouth or put it on your FLAT hand.

After the hour drive we went to the petting zoo. That goat wanted food too!

Little piggy.

Big alligator.
Grandma relaxing on grandson.

Lion relaxing on ground!

This is a bear in hibernation. They had two.

Goats.

Looking at the bears hibernating.

He was looking at us as food! lol
Lemur.

Small monkey and notice he was putting his hand to the ground to pull the grass and he ate some.

Small baboon.

Sheraton and grandson.

Sheraton was his favorite.
Hope you weren't too bored. This is the end of the pictures.

Love, Chatty

And remember - It is 5 0'clock somewhere - so have some fun today. Breathe and move on.

I'm not sure I would like those big mouths coming at me:) Looks like a great place to visit though. I enjoyed all of the photos - well the snake I could live without, but the rest were fun.

the pictures with the donkeys were too funny, I guess they were really hungry. I can't believe that goat, trying to jump the fence for a little bite and the best thing of all, your grandson enjoying every minute of it, that's awesome.

Oh, those photos were great! Thanks so much, Sandie, for sharing them with us. That animal Safari looked like fun, except for the pushy critters...would be terrible to be knocked over - that tongue photo of the Giraffe was funny and oh, those teeth on the Zebra sure look intimidating...Those piglets were cute and some of them did look a little bit like a dog in the face and ears...Looks like you all had fun (is that your daughter with a cigarette in her mouth or are my eyes playing tricks on me?)

Take care and enjoy your day!
Love you!
Doris and the Gizz :)

I've never been there! I'm trying to decide if I want to put it on my to see list or wait until I have grandchildren to enjoy it with.

I would definitely DRIVE...
WITH the window closed.

And I would gladly cheer on someone else feeding the slobbery animals.

But I would laugh a lot. I'm sure of it.

Oh, but I'd have had a ball at that zoo ... no doubt, baby-talking to the beasts. ("If I could talk to the ani-mals....!")

Say, are you sporting a new hairdo? I like!

We used to have aplace like this
in Missouri. My adult children still have vivid memories of the monkeys climbing all over the car reaching into the window. Looks like a fun family day.

More pictures, YAY!

I thought the one of GS and the goat was funny. Looks like that goat is about to eat GS's hand if he doesn't get what's in it RIGHT AWAY!

The piggies were adorable - but I'm with GS - Sheraton is still the best one of all.

Except for one very cute chatty grandma...
