Wednesday's Wonders . . .

This is a repeat video from Saturday - I had trouble with google reader. Now the pictures you can ignore, but the video and the message - that words can help or hurt is something near and dear to my heart and I really wanted you to see it.

"You can hit me and I won't think much of it, but you can say something and hurt me very much." ~ Floyd Patterson Called a "good guy in the bad world of boxing" by the New York Times, heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson (1935-2006) was born in Waco, North Carolina. The third of 11 children, he took up boxing at the age 14."It's easy to do anything in victory. It's in defeat that a man reveals himself," he once said.

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. -Mother Teresa"

This is what I try to live and how I try to teach - but I have to admit it is hard and sometimes I fail.

On Saturdays a few weeks ago we decided to do family trips like when our kids were little. We can't do them on Sundays as GS sees his dad on Sundays. Last weeks trip was to FRESH FOODS and GIGI's CUPCAKES! I didn't buy everything I took pictures of but for me it is eye candy - thank you Nikki for that term - I told you I would steal it.

FRESH MARKET

I bought one of these - I want to start a bottle bush?

GIGI'S CUPCAKES:

And yes - we did succumb.

Words can hurt - at least they can me. They hurt more then being hit physically I believe.

Pictures - eye candy God gives us to enjoy - can make you feel good.

Love, Chatty

Hi Sandie,
Today's message has truly touched my heart in a special way. The power of words can do such an impact in one's life. A kind loving word can make a real difference in people's lives. I always try to be kind with others, and I expect the same in return. However, some folks are not always nice back to me. It hurts pretty badly when someone shows unkind, nasty ways. I love the Video that you have posted, Sandie!! It's a wise and powerful video with much wisdom in it. Thank you so much, sweet Sandie for showing your loving and caring ways to the world!! We may become Online friends, if you wish. You are an interesting lady, Sandie. God may bless you, Sandie and those you love!! I've posted a new pic of me.
Until we write again.

I need to go shopping with you!

I've never understood that old sticks and stones saying, because I've always felt that words can and do hurt, and unfortunately those scars are sometimes permanent.

Hi Sandie...I really do believe in the power of words. They can help us laugh and they can sear so deeply that it causes tears.

Loved the video, too. Great job! Susan

Sandie, I've been trying to lose a few pounds and this post looks good! lol
I saw the best bottle tree today...the form is at least $175, probably more since that price is for a smaller one. One of these days I'll get one, if I can find one a bit less expensive. I like the bottle thingy you showed...the blue bottles are so pretty, especially when the sun hits them.
