Thursday - You're Never To Old to find your Mojo!

Remember, "we are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars!"
(Oscar Wilde).

(Thanks "ThisIsMe - Diane" - I borrowed that quote from your blog.)

I'm not going to give up on looking for my Mojo. I know I have it somewhere and one day I will lost weight!!! I see too I am not alone. We will all find it!

When you encounter difficulties and contradictions, do not try to break them, but bend them with gentleness and time.

- St. Francis de Sales

Now I am feeling bad about how many times in the last week I have complained about 'feeling' old! haha. I never knew the jumping jack was named after Jack either :)

oh I know Sandie, but it's sooooo hard. I think I can do twenty minutes a day, I think that's doable but he did say rigorous....would stamping count? I do marathon stamping session when I have to make greeting cards to swap, lol. I gained my extra weight during pregnancy and never lost it....I know I need to get back on the bandwagon.

This stuff about LaLanne is amazing, I didn't know any of it. So the jumping jack is named after him!! And he doesn't even look 80!!

How cool - I really enjoyed this little "movie" about Jack. Nice poem too :-) I run a few times a week - so am on the right track ?! lol I couldn't think of a live w/o exercise....think it's the hard work in the rowing club that did it...but I love it and I feel so much better! Especially when sitting in an office all day....

I remember as a kid watching Jack LaLane (uh-oh...did I spell it right?)excersing on television.

I loved Jack Lalanne. I enjoyed seeing He and Elaine with their characteristic positive and motivating message.

I needed to watch that today and realize just how old I'm NOT.

My mom used to exercise with him every morning. She sings a song sometimes that was his theme or something, but I can't remember how it goes. Now, I need to ask her.

My mother like any good 60s housewife would faithfully follow Jack LaLane. He is a true institution and an inspiration. My mojo got left behind a couple of weeks ago. I hope to pick it back up in July! Ann

I do believe you will lose that weight Sandie! Some catalyst will come along that will finally be the right one to keep you motivated! It is hard to imagine Jack LaLane 95 years old; I remember watching his exercise show when I was young and he looked "old" then.

Hi Sandie! When you find your mojo, will you send some to me??

I started weight watchers online on Tuesday, I'm sure I haven't lost anything yet, but mentally I feel lighter!

I remember his show on tv when I was a kid. Maybe if I do some cleaning this weekend I'll find my mojo. I bet it's buried in my craft room somewhere

Sandie - Your MOJO isn't missing, it's just hibernating. I know that you can do this!

I actually saw Jack LaLane in person on vacation once. He looked even more impressive in person than on TV. And seriously, was he ever on the forefront of the fitness movement!

It's cliche - but the first step is the hardest. But I just know, if you can lose even a few pounds, the incentive starts to pick up...trust me on that.
