Animal Daze - Ben Ten's Biggest Fan

I do think God loves us and has a sense of humor! I miss Angela's Show and Tail because I think animals make us happy and feel good and I think that is an important component of life.

Where does Disco lay around the house when his boy and girl are missing?

He is resting on grandpa's chair waiting for him to come and take a rest with him. I am his last pick - but it has to be that way. I'm allergic to animals and I really try not to let him in my room or on my chair and he is respectful of that - but I do miss the bonding. At least this way we can have him.

However where I get it made up is in my GS. Do you ever go to McDonald's and order a kids Happy Meal for a boy? Well the Smurfs are over. If you looked at the Smurf box and turned it over you could see the next toys coming out. Ever here of Ben Ten? Disco's Toys (same of them he is spoiled too - are behind Ben Ten and under the GS's desk he never uses - note to self to move that to the basement.

Well it just so happens I live with Ben Ten's biggest fan. He has been collecting for 7 years. We have most of every thing that concerns Ben Ten ( and I am not kidding). Now the last free weeks we have been stopping by McDonald's almost everyday asking when Ben Ten was starting - Ben Who was their reply. I need new toy baskets too!

Now they know who Ben Ten is and our neighborhood McDonald's knows who the GS is! A girl is even going to save the GS the Ben Ten poster when it's over in 6 weeks. These are about one fingernail worth of all the Ben Ten items we have!

Grandma has toys everywhere. In the family room of course. I have found lost Pokemon's in the living room. In the dining room there is his old Halloween candy. The old candy has been thrown out and has been replaced with new I guess I should say. I find toys in his room, the office, his mom's room, I mean everywhere!

These are my tea cups and dishes. This is the table-scape of my life. So many women have such nice, beautiful, exquisite items - and so do I - they just look a heck of a lot different! lol

Maybe some day the look of my house might change - but for now - I'm here with
Ben Ten's Biggest Fan.

In pursuit of happiness, the difficulty lies in knowing when you have caught up.

I have no idea about Ben Ten, but I will one day, or about whatever replaces Ben Ten in a few years.

Grandkids do keep us young, don't they?

Well, I hate to be in the majority here but I'm unaware of Ben Ten myself. I feel inept as I have two grandsons and four grown sons and no idea who this is. Perhaps they can fill me in. As for collecting I go for the Halloween Madame Alexander collections from McDonalds. I look forward to driving all over creation to get the entire set, lol! My daughter has refused to accompany me on these trips...she won't get them in my will for that...! I think Ms Lily will be very well rewarded for her appreciation of the set!

Hugs and watch yer step there Sandie those could hurt as much as stepping on little legoes!

NO, believe me you don not want nice china dishes as a tablescape, all prim and proper. In the future, you will really wish for Ben Ten to be beck. Enjoy this while you have it, it will be gone in an instant and you will be back to stuffy beautiful china.

By the way, that first animal really cracks me up! At the drive through safari, there were also some really idiotic looking creatures!!

Such a sweet post about the toys. It reminded me of when I used to go to McDonalds often just to buy the little toys for my grandchildren.

Oh Sandie, you are a riot. I had never heard of Ben Ten til I read your post.

I have a nephew who collected Beanie Babies...over 100 of them! Now, they are worth almost nothing. Collections come and go, I guess.

Well, Sandie, you have a precious GS and that is the best collector's item of ALL. Susan

I'm gonna blush to admit I've never heard of BEN TEN, but my grands are all girls, so perhaps that is why. You have a "Happy House" look - there's nothing prettier than that!

It is quite obvious my grandchildren are all older because I have never heard of Ben Ten. We did have Pokemon coming our our ears though.

Now about that first picture...What the heck?

hey your tea cups are beautfiul, loved the photos and I can relate.

Oh how I remember the days of boys collecting! We were into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I won't tell you the hours I spent hunting down random figures. Some were quite scarce, and I had to fight other moms to win my conquest. Luckily I got off with probation...(no, not really...sorta)

I can tell the joy that fills your heart having GS in the house. It's worth the *mess* to be blessed!
