History Lesson

AMAZING...absolutely AMAZING!! The "miracles" of computers!!

The painting itself is great but as you run your cursor over the people it tells you who they are .....

BUT DOUBLE click on a person) and you obtain their life history.
This is fascinating ..

She was such a glamorous lady.

Fascinating. I checked them all out. Some were noticably absent - Christ, Buddah, Muhammad, etc.

WOW! I've never aeen anything like this before.
I'm thinking this would be great to include in this years school lessons, as Princess is taking Art Apreciation.
Wonder if there are other paintings which have this feature.
????? Thanks for sharing!

An interesting group picture. I wonder how they decided who to include? I enjoyed clicking and reading about the ones I didn't recognize or didn't know.

You've outdone yourself with this link! I can't wait to spend more time but it is thundering and I am about to shut down the computer. I'll be in touch later with an unrelated question.

This was fabulous!! I only got six..
I have bookmarked it to show my granddaughter.
Yes I am finally home. I get around carefully hanging onto the furniture. But use crutches outside. I need to take a lot of care because I'm usually a fast person, so need to slow down. Good news, I lost some weight. The pain is shocking and its hard to sleep straight through. I am on good pain relief and love the heat pack. So far Ray has been helping. Much love Crystal xxx

this is unbelievable. the 3 artist that created it are super talented and then for someone to take the time to link each one. incredible. i dragged the mouse over each person and clicked on a couple to see what would happen. truly amazing.

That was fun and informative! Two of my favorite things! I tried to click on the cockatoo - it didn't work. Now I'm going to spend the rest of the day wondering who he is and how he happened to land in that great crowd of famous people. Hmmm...
