Pinterest

Pinterest

Pinterest is a virtual pin board where you can collect the things you love (for fun).

Remember a few years ago where you were to get a big bulletin board and put all the things you like on it and what you wanted? Well this helps you to do it easily. You can plan your room - your wish list - and more.
Donna At Discovering the Purpose of Our Lives sent me this. And I thought I'd pass it on to you.

http://pinterest.com/

If you use it and like it let me know! You will have to ask them for an invite. I did and it's easy.

Hope you have some fun with it and thanks Donna.

THE HELP

Remember awhile ago I showed you my bottle tree? They had one in this movie - did anyone notice it?

An attitude of gratitude creates blessings.

I received an award from a new friend from Portugal - she is a young and beautiful girl named Raquel Lautenschlager Santana,

Believe it or not - with Google Translator we can actually converse back and forth and we can talk not knowing each others language! Link

I like Pinterest...it is handy to put on all ideas that I see but also I have a category for gift ideas for me to give and for my family to get me. Who doesn't have a computer any more to use this useful tool.

it is so amazing we can write in one language and they can read in their own, or vice versa for us.

I did sign-up for Pinterest a few weeks ago, but I haven't really done much with it. It looks like fun, but a real time eater :)
I saw "The Help" but didn't notice the bottle tree.

I am on Pinterest and I am enjoying it. A great place to gather ideas of things you want to do, ideas for gifts, projects, etc! I found a few photos from my blog that others had pinned...I felt honored! I did not notice the bottle tree in The Help but will look for it when I watch it again...I guess when it comes out on DVD. Great movie! hugs, Linda

Well done on your award Chatty.

Well deserved.

Isn't technology fabulous that you can chat away to someone in a distant land and you don't even speak the same language!

Congrats.

Hi Sandie! You are quite an interesting gal! You always come up with so many unique things over here. I don't have the time or energy for Pinterest but I know lots of bloggers are into it! I still like the old school bulletin boards. I always had one filled during my high school years many moons ago! Ha!
Enjoy the weekend.

HI CHATTY!!!
DID you get alot of rain from IRENE????
I wondered about you. My daughter in Florida got minimal rain. I at first thought the entire state of Florida was going to take a direct hit, so I was nervous.
Have a great weekend

Oooh, I LIKE this site! --
I dropped by this morning; and sensed a "habit" coming on, so I backed out verrrrry carefully.

Will definitely re-visit. Won't you keep us up-to-date on your "pins"?!

PS - Congrats on the new award!

I already use Pintrest and I like it. I don't do as much pinning as some people do but I like how easy it is to keep track of things I find on the internet.

Sandie, congrats on your well-deserved award. I am so mixed up on my time that I find myself on the computer at crazy times, at least if I look at EST. I have always wanted to look at Pinterest, but have taken the time to do so. When I get back, it will be on my list. Now I go to bed.... Ann
