PS MY DISCLAIMER - I HOPE THESE WORK! lol

Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.

that is a lot of discounts, some i knew, some not. I have never gotten a senior discount at Wendy's, and we go there once a month. most every store here in FL has a senior discount, but there are a few here that I have not gotten

Do they tell you about these discounts are do you have to ask? Thanks for this information.'

Also, your "coincidence" quote would have been great on my August 1st question of the week! It's an excellent explanation of what a coincidence is.

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many out there. I'm already old, I might as well get something for it, right?

My husband is 5 years younger than me so He's been giving me up for awhile now. Now he qualifies for some himself.

Cheri said...

I had to save this because I now just qualify...now if I can only remember to check my sheet before I go some where and to also ask.

Great list, Sandie. Like some others I knew about a few but not all. And, I was just in Kohl's this weekend, and forgot about it! DUH

I'm taking one room at the time spring cleaning in August. LOL

Have a great day.

It does make you feel good when the house has been cleaned through, doesn't it?! That was quite a list of discounts you came up with there for us older gals!!

It's great to know about these. Thanks for sharing. My 61 year old husband is always offered the seniors discount - since he was in his late 40's! I just tell him that if it's offered, take it. Of course, he qualifies now! And so do I.

Lots of info--thanks. I always ask for a senior drink when I go to McDonalds or Burger King.

Very cool. I'll bet my mom copies these down. I can't wait to ask her if she did.

There are some really good Senior Citizen discounts on the list...Now all I have to hope for is that the workers in each place is aware of them when I ask for them! :)

Betsy Banks Adams said...

Hi Sandie, GREAT list. Think I'll print it out... I knew about some of these but not all.. I know that places like Wendy's (and others) don't automatically give discounts. You have to ask for them..

Our KFC is good, so is Hardee's, and our Kroger's offers 5% every Wed. Didn't know that about Food Lion. Thanks so much.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hey, if cleaning house makes you that happy please come right over and have yourself a happy time at my place. I love a clean house but hate that it gets dirty again so quickly.

You know, for the very first time you have made me glad to be 57, and actually looking forward to 60!

It's a miracle.

Have fun cleaning (and thanks for making me feel guilty about my messy house...)

LOVE those God winks!!

Some just automatically give me the discount, but by looking at that list there are quite a few that don't even mention it. I realize they don't want to offend anyone, but I wouldn't be offended! I'll have to get one of those shirts that say, "Give me my Senior Citizen discount!"
