Hump day - I 'm going to shuck some corn!

I wondered if I should post this or not - but it is breast cancer awareness month - so if this makes you think of it - or pray for someone - or give something - then cool - and it gives you a little laugh. Thank you Linda A La Carte!

Tired of no one one noticing you??

Are you sick of being ignored? Do you sit unnoticed

On the sidelines while others are picked?

Are you tired of being overlooked?

Get a new scarf ! !

Try the latest scarf fashion and you too will be the center of attention..

I thought this was a GREAT thought for the day:

When you are reluctant to change, think of the beauty of autumn.

The scarves are great, Sandie. Any reminder to take care of our breast health is a good one, even if, like me, you have gone from a 38 B to a 38 long.

That corn tip is really popular right now. I've gotten it in two emails and saw it on Facebook. I haven't tried it yet. I hope to hear from someone first hand if it works as well as it did in the video. Won't that be great if it does?

If I thought my two dinner buddies would pose for a picture, I'd make those scarves but I think one of them would never consider it. We'd sure get lots of attention in the restaurant, wouldn't we? LOL!

I laughed so hard when I saw the picture of the scarves! AND then that video! Why isn't he on Martha Stewart??? Amazing. I hope I remember this next summer! Great posts!

As to your question on my blog, my hubby is back in the reserves and goes once a month for drill. He works now at a local university teaching military science and in charge of the ROTC program. He's no longer on active duty and receives his pay through an independent company that contracts his job with the government. Not the greatest salary at all, but he's home every night.

He was so cute! I loved the video. Now I'll have to get some fresh corn and give it a try. I like to open the top and look for worms. I hope that's OK because I don't want to zap a worm in the microwave too. :)

Ha Ha!! I want to buy one of those scarves for the Farm Sister. She is constantly lamenting the difference in our bust size. I'm constantly lamenting the difference in our jean size so I guess we're even.

Sadly, my gals are starting to look suspiciously like the scarf gals. Sigh...

Besides, I've got the mirror to get the same effect.
