I wondered if I should post this or not - but it is breast cancer awareness month - so if this makes you think of it - or pray for someone - or give something - then cool - and it gives you a little laugh. Thank you Linda A La Carte!

We don't stop laughing because we grow old;
We grow old because we stop laughing.
This is brought to you by my wonderful friend Angela at West Virgina's Treasure
It is AWESOME - your going to learn something great today.
I thought this was a GREAT thought for the day:
When you are reluctant to change, think of the beauty of autumn.

The scarves are great, Sandie. Any reminder to take care of our breast health is a good one, even if, like me, you have gone from a 38 B to a 38 long.
FUNNY stuff! Love the corn tip!!!
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
Glad everyone is enjoying the scarf joke! My cousin tried the corn shucking and said it worked great!
hugs, Linda
That corn tip is really popular right now. I've gotten it in two emails and saw it on Facebook. I haven't tried it yet. I hope to hear from someone first hand if it works as well as it did in the video. Won't that be great if it does?
If I thought my two dinner buddies would pose for a picture, I'd make those scarves but I think one of them would never consider it. We'd sure get lots of attention in the restaurant, wouldn't we? LOL!
You are too funny. You always make me smile....I love the scarf.....
Love those scarves!!

Brilliant.. a crap day at work and a quick look at blog comments to pass some time before bedtime.
Then I read this..
Off to bed with a smile on my face and a great charity will get a donation.
Big hugs...
I laughed so hard when I saw the picture of the scarves! AND then that video! Why isn't he on Martha Stewart??? Amazing. I hope I remember this next summer! Great posts!
As to your question on my blog, my hubby is back in the reserves and goes once a month for drill. He works now at a local university teaching military science and in charge of the ROTC program. He's no longer on active duty and receives his pay through an independent company that contracts his job with the government. Not the greatest salary at all, but he's home every night.
Well....I am still laughing! I don't think I have ever seen these scarves before. ha!
I saw that video last night...cool isn't it! Hope you're having a great day.Hugs...shug

He was so cute! I loved the video. Now I'll have to get some fresh corn and give it a try. I like to open the top and look for worms. I hope that's OK because I don't want to zap a worm in the microwave too. :)
That was a fun post, Sandie. Thanks for sharing. Susan

P.S. Sandie, I would try this method for the corn but I don't have a microwave. I still do these things the old fashioned way. Blessings, Catherine

Ha Ha!! I want to buy one of those scarves for the Farm Sister. She is constantly lamenting the difference in our bust size. I'm constantly lamenting the difference in our jean size so I guess we're even.
Sadly, my gals are starting to look suspiciously like the scarf gals. Sigh...
I can't believe you post the "whole thing" LOL ...I have seen the video on the shucking corn...awesome and I enjoyed the cartoons but now let me say on the scarf of the "now trend" I WILL HAVE TO PASS ... LOL .... funny Chatty ....
Love that picture of the scarves!
I have never seen those scarves before - I don't think I want to see them ever again.
Besides, I've got the mirror to get the same effect.
Sigh...perky is definitely a thing of the past.
