Tuesday - how to lick an icing bowl . . .

How a bowl of icing should be licked.... first of all give it a little lick to get your senses going. Make sure you taste the depth of the flavor and it's one you like. You mouth starts to yearn for more and more.

Now move a little closer - touch it with your hand. Does it make you feel good? Is it smooth and creamy - thick or lumpy? Is anyone looking and even so should you just go for it?

Yes, this is the time - go for it -feel it. Get all the way in there is no turning back now! You have to do it. The passion is there!

You own the bowl - it's yours - hook, line, and sinker. You smell it, you feel it, you taste it, and you see how beautiful it is - all your senses are aroused!

Okay that was just for fun - but sometimes don't you just wish you could let go and do something like this - well, I do. It would be so much fun to let go and do something frivolous.

(How sweet, the owner grabbed a camera instead of chasing the puppy away.)
No puppies were hurt in the shooting of the pictures! lol
Thanks Jerry.

Okay has anyone had this experience???

Oh, this was so cute! I thought the same thing- how grand it was he didn't chase the puppy off, but let it run its course with the icing. I often wonder how many things are cut too short by our tendency to immediately correct...
(PS- my email is in my profile and I'm not on Google +)

Who doesn't lick the beaters after whipping up cream or icing? Not doing so would be unnatural. The only reason to bake the cake, is to eat the icing.

How cute that puppy is!! I wish I could lick the bowl. When I was a kid, we used to fight over who got to lick it.

A very beautiful picture and quote to begin my day.

The puppy is just too precious! Thanks for the smiles.

and my first thought is that will be one sick puppy. i do give a lick to our dogs but only one and from my finger. to much sugar can kill a dog especially a puppy, so bad owner for this one. google + not sure since i don't know what it is.

That's so cute!

I was on the road yesterday so I missed your post yesterday. I did see your comment on my blogger schmogger post so I was and am curious.

I want to figure out well in advance what to do about this. I am not a big old fan of blogger, but I've seen too many people have unsuccessful moves from blogger to something else so I'm nervous.

This is just too cute. I love to lick the beaters!

I guess he got a bath right away! :) I love animals - I don't have any pets right now because I'm on the road so much. But someday...

Well, i like to lick bowls and the only reason I don't just stick my whole head in them, is it is such a chore trying to get all the sticky stuff out of my hair afterwards. :)

Great pictures. have a fun day. BTW - my email address is: mejiggs@comcast.net

Oh how adorable!
One of our spaniels, a 10-pound girl named Lily, did something similar when my daughters were having a pajama party years ago -- only Lily's adventure involved a big bowl of onion dip, and 8-inch long ears.

And a fast dunking into the kitchen sink! But we still laugh about it.

Lovely post!

So cute, Sandie!!! Well, I just read back over yesterday's post, and still can't find anything that would worry anyone? Am I missing something, or just too drugged up?

Kim said...

Oh my goodness, that is so adorable. I love the look on the puppy's face. Sweet.
BTW I would love to walk across that bridge in your header!

Licking the bowl is a privilege I LOVE! The little pup is so darn cute. I bet he got to play in the bathtub when he finished up!

I would love to lay in a bathtub of melted chocolate!

I actually hope that wasn't real icing, but some kind of mashed puppy food -- the sugar wouldn't be too healthy for the little guy. Way cute, though! :)

So darn cute. I would love to have a day like that!

My o My, such a cutie dancing around in the bowl [yumm] Brings me back to my childhood, well I was not sitting in the bowl, but didn't hesitate licking the whisk. [bold bold] Enjoy your evening my friend!

That was a cute puppy! But I do usually lick the bowl or at least take a spoonful when I'm baking a cake! And I must have missed yesterday's post. Do you really think something is happening??? I am addicted to blogging and have no idea what I would do!!! Okay, I'm going to breathe and wait for you to find out more info. Thanks!!! Enjoy your day!

Too cute with the puppy! He really got into licking that bowl! Koda is the same way when we give him an empty cream cheese container to lick; he has it all over him by the time he is done with it!

have a good Wednesday!

Nice thing that's a puppy. Better start theMr training soon or it'll be spoiled rotten.

Mrs. Jim would have a hissy fit if she found any animal eating out of a human dish. She right even though there are the 'Soap and Water' jokes running round.

Very sweet, pup and all over with it.
You have accomplished your 'hope.' Your blog is always so 'to the heart' and fun.
Oh, that Bobcat, BOB, is more afraid of me than I of him. He runs when I take a step, so I'm enjoying his company to the land we share.

Adorable puppy! It kinda reminded me of when Marty used to fall asleep in his bowl when he was a puppy! So cute...

And I totally agree with the quote. Loving an animal brings out the best in we humans.

I am not on Google + (kinda afraid that everything will blow up if I make too many changes)

And you have my email - and I would love to have your personal responses! I miss them very much.

One time I clicked on the "Email follow-up comments to (my email address). I thought that would solve the problem. But all I got were emails containing other comments on your blog - not YOUR follow-up comments.

Any suggestions?
