Fun Friday - with a little help from my friends!!!

During a recent company IT audit, it was found that a receptionist was using the following password:

"MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofyCanberra"

When asked why she had such a long password, she said she was told that it had to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one capital.
Thank you Jerry.

Thank you Sharon
DEAF WIFE....."priceless"

A man feared his wife wasn't hearing as well as she used to and he thought she might need a hearing aid.

Not quite sure how to approach her, he called the family doctor to discuss the problem.

The Doctor told him there is a simple informal test the husband could
perform to give the doctor a better idea about her hearing loss.

Here's what you do," said the Doctor, "stand about 40 feet away from her, and in a normal conversational speaking tone see if she hears you.

If not, go to 30 feet, then 20 feet, and so on until you get a response."

That evening, the wife is in the kitchen cooking dinner, and he was in the
den. He says to himself, "I'm about 40 feet away, let's see what happens."

Then in a normal tone he asks, 'Honey, what's for dinner?"

No response..

So the husband moves closer to the kitchen, about 30 feet from his wife and repeats, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

Still no response.

Next he moves into the dining room where he is about 20 feet from his wife and asks, "Honey, what's for dinner?"

Again no response.

So, he walks up to the kitchen door, about 10 feet away.. "Honey, what's for dinner?"

Again there is no response.

So he walks right up behind her... "Honey, what's for dinner?"

(I just love this)

"FRED, for THE FIFTH time, CHICKEN!"
Thank you Sharon.

More than likely you said, 'A bird in the bush,'! and...
If this IS what YOU said, then you failed to see
that the word THE is repeated twice!
Sorry, look again.
Thank you Ann.

MY TRAVELS

I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.

I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.

I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work. I live close so it's a short drive.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.

I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.

One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenaline flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible but life shows me I am not.

People keep telling me I'm in Denial but I'm positive I've never been there before!

I have been in Deepshit many times; the older I get, the easier it is to get there. I actually kind of enjoy it there.

So far, I haven't been in Continent; but my travel agent says I'll be going there soon.

Wishing you all safe travels

Thank you Debbie at Just Breathe

Thank you Marydon

Thought for the day -
Thank you Kelly.

That church video was really funny...especially the bride taking communion. In my mind I predicted the camera man going down...it was inevitable. Too funny!

Another great post! Loved the church video, the hearing aid joke, and the part about traveling was great.. In fact it reminded me of all the puns and clever substitutions they are making about the rising basketball star, Jeremy Lyn! Dave Letterman had a Top Ten that was so FUNNY about it too!.. Thanks again for all the fun and giggles! Have a great weekend! ~tina

I never get tired of seeing those church mishaps. I can honestly say I have never attended a wedding where anything like that happened Unless I count my own when our regular priest went on vacation the day before our wedding and they dug up a 100 year old priest out of retirement, who kept calling Terry "Clarence" instead of Terrance throughout the entire ceremony. I heard a few chuckles from his best men.

All of these are great. The last one could be applied to my mother. Bless her heart. At age 95 she is on the computer every single day. I just wish she didn't know about the forward button!

I loved the one with the word play the best. I've been in Sane, though. It's a nice place to visit but (and trust me on this one, Sandie) you wouldn't want to live there.

Just kidding.

The video was so funny. My favorite part was when the woman comes up and slaps away the hand on the butt. LOL.

Sandy, thanks for the laughs. I especially liked the hearing joke because that is the way it is around here. As you may know, I am almost deaf, so there can be many funny incidents concerning hearing loss. We often think it is the other person who has a problem by not speaking louder or more distinctly. With all the problems in the world, it is nice to come over to your blog for some comic relief. Have a wonderful weekend!---------- Shannon

The video was the best!!

Doris Sturm said...

I've traveled to those same places once or twice LOL

I turned off word verification, but everyone else has theirs on, so why would mine be any more difficult than everyone else's? I can't tell how difficult it is because I can only turn it off or on and not determine the level of difficulty!
