Your gift is wonderful! And I am absolutely puzzled as to how that number game worked!

Beautiful present....

What? They didn't give you a ticket to fly up and see me as your mother's day gift? Guess I didn't drop a big enough hint.

I am so sorry to have missed sending you birthday wishes. I had a funny remark planned (which I hope to remember NEXT year) but I've had connectivity issues while in Florida.

My iPad won't open the gray box but I will try from the hotel's computer later today. I love the weather here but I am ready to be back home!

Gorgeous candle holder, Sandie. Just gorgeous.

I think the numbers thing must have something to do with mathematical configurations.

It definitely selected the number I had in mind. It was amazing. Susan

I like that quote about the universe and today is my take a breath and catch up day too! I'm sure the number thing works similarly to the card tricks which I also can't figure out. Go ask David Copperfield - he'll know. Ann

Sandie, I just LOVE the blossom votive. I prefer it to the white one. You have some wonderful kids.

And that number game? C-razy!! How did it do that?

Hi dear friend Sandie,
I can understand when you say that you will take it easy this day in order to catch up...
Let me tell you that I just love your wonderful blog with variety, especially today's gorgeous picture of the white baby seal!!
Have a fantastic day, Sandie!!

I love your present, Sandie.
My dental cleaning day was today in Huntsville, Texas (Home of our first Texas president and governor, Sam Houston). Mrs. Jim and I went to some antique stores afterwards. They had some really pretty crystal but none like yours or as pretty.
Oh yes, we ate between my appointment and antiquing. I had a salad and a crawfish poboy with fries, Mrs. Jim had a shrimp poboy with fries and a few bites of my salad it was really good. Too bad I didn't get a picture for blogging.

You number will always come up. All the boxes at the end have only your number. The rest of the clicks don't matter unless you can see your number. I picked 17 so it was a blue number. Then again when I saw my number 17 was the only number in the oval "C" for me to click.

An algorithm (put into a little computer program) figures this out for us no matter what number we pick it will always work.

What is my prize?
..
Oh, I didn't read all the other 39 comments to see if anyone else told you how this worked and got it right. My answer IS right.

Well, look at you!
The first to receive a Mother's Day gift.
What do you know that the rest of us don't?

Jim said...

Sandie, if you open the other two after you do the first one (it is always the right number) they will all be the wrong one.

Ackkkk, things like that drive me nuts. I must know how it works. It's the reason I've joined your followers. Hope that you discover the answer one day. ;D

What a beautiful votive! I love that.

However, I do NOT love the grey box. I have a love/hate thing with games like that. I always feel like someone has crawled inside my head and read my mind (it's a very short book...)
