"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increase power. Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary."

i memorized this verse years ago, many years ago, and a few others like it from Isaiah. the last 40 chapters of Isaiah are called the comfort chapters and they do. when i can't sleep at night, this is one of the verses i repeat in my head over and over. Happy Mothers day

Beautiful Sandie - this verse became a "life verse" for my husband and myself when I was in the wee hours of the morning laboring through the emergency birth of our first child. I have loved it ever since - I guess it is truly a mother's day verse for me! :) I never though of that before!
