Six years of growth - love - school - life.
My grandson on his first day of kindergarten.
No glasses and he's wearing a note for the school to what class he is supposed to go to. Mrs. Richards - she taught him kindergarten and first. His all time favorite teacher. What a mess my house it - everything is out! lol But here he is his last day of 5th grade.
Here he is with his glasses and wonderful smile. Disco has been added to the household.
He really loved his first 6 years - let's pray he does the next seven - lol. Love you buddy.
Can you pick which one is his mother on her first day of kindergarten? I still am in touch with Jean whose daughter is in this picture and her son Jeff. She is my angel girl. We met when the girls were babies in a neighborhood Bible Study. My daughter is 34 years old now.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

He is growing up, Sandie!! So quickly! I love the photo of your daughter and fiends and that you have remained friends over decades with the one. I'm guessings your daughter is in the middle??? blessings ~ tanna
They do grow up fast. What a wonderful picture too of your daughter's first day of school. I wish I had taken more pictures when mine were young. Now I'm taking pictures all the time, but I didn't back then. Hope your Thursday is a wonderful one!
Last day of school rules! :)
Last day of school rules! :)
How sweet! I always love to look through pictures of special times and memories...visual proof that time really does fly!
This is just wonderful! They sure do grow up fast, so we gotta keep the memories!
I love pictures like this. We also took pictures of our kids each year on the first day of school. It's fun to look back. I hope your grandson has a great summer and will enjoy middle school in the fall.
I so love pictures like this- seeing the growth and maturity come forth- congratulations!
I love pictures that show the passage of time. Hope your grandson has a fantastic summer ... and enjoys the next 7 years as much as the past 6!
I'm guessin' your daughter is the one in the plaid dress?!!! How close am I?
Loved watching your grandson grow through the yeas. What sweet, sweet memories.
I always love looking back at how the kids change. Loved seeing how Andy grew so beautifully. He's a beautiful boy. And you....wooo hoo...adorable.
Love just LOVE your new header Sandie.....I LOVE daisies.....also good shots of the kiddos
Isn't it amazing how our life 'freezes' in pictures. You have a handsome young man there!
Not me, on picking in pictures. I always joked about the Post Office and the 10 most wanted on the wall. I always said I could stare at them all, and walk out, meet the most notorious one, smile, say good morning and keep on walking. not good at that.LOL
I have been meaning to say, ever since we met, Something about the little girl(on your side bar) leaning back, belting out and inspiring the Camel to do the same, 'MAKES ME FEEL GOOD'. I do not know why, it just does!
Love from here hope you have a wonderful day!!!
He just looks loveable. And I couldn't pick out your daughter, but I love that photo, too.
Is your daughter the blond one, Sandie? Congrats to GS for his accomplishments over the years!! Cute to have his kindergarten picture and then the pictures from this last year in elementary school! My how he has grown into a fine young man!

Your grandson is going to have a wonderful summer. He looks so cool!!!! Glad school is over for this year! I can't guess which one is his mother. Let us know, will you? At first I thought she was the one in the plaid dress and then I thought it was the little girl holding the little boys hand??? But not sure.
Your grandson is so cute, Sandie. It's amazing what can happen in just a few years, isn't it?? I feel the same way about Katie. When they're little, they change so fast!
Half-way to being a senior, then off to college. Time flies! I think mom is in pink stripes- or the purple.
SO COOL!!! You took the pictures in exactly the same place. And he is so cute in the kindergarten one, gosh how he has grown!
Love seeing those pictures. Your GS is so sweet (and I know the light of your life). Is your daughter in the middle?
Andy is growing up! He's a handsome young man and has such a nice smile! I love seeing photos of your family, but I can't guess which one is your daughter. Do tell us!
My daughter has a birthday tomorrow. Can't believe she'll be 40. Makes me feel very old...lol!
Have a wonderful day.
Huge congratulations to him! I hope he enjoys his new school next year.
Your grandson and I share the same birthday and his kindergarten teacher and I have the same name! THH! He's adorable then and now. Time flies doesn't it?? My son will be a junior in HS next year and it freaks me out! I cried when he turned 10, double digits was hard for me. Your grandson is so lucky to have all of you loving him and being so supportive. Hope he has a fantastic last day of school!!!
He's a cutie...Time does fly and you are so lucky to have your daughter's first day of school picture. I am guessing she is the little girl standing by the little boy.
I will bet he will love his new school. It sounds like a wonderful place. God bless him and be with him through the year.
He looks like he's positively beaming in those pictures.
I have no idea which one is your daughter in that last picture.
You must be so proud...:)JP
These are the best photos. He sure is a handsome young man. Praying that these next years will be super.
My first guess is that your daughter is the one on the end, but the blonde is my second guess. Be sure to let us know. Your grandson has such a great smile!
Great photos of your grandson. I hope you all have a wonderful summer break.
Adorable pics of grandson...and yes, it goes by so fast it's just unfair.
I'm guessing the girl on the far right...but I always stink at guessing, so won't be shocked if wrong. lol
Hi Sandie, Great pictures of your grandson... Kids do grow up so very very fast... It only seems like yesterday that my sons were that age.... Now they are in their 40's.... Yipes!
I pray that he will enjoy the next 7 yrs of school like he has the first 6....
Not sure which is your daughter in that picture... Is she the blonde (tallest one)????
Hugs,
Betsy
He should be very proud of himself for all the accomplishments he has made that brought him to this point. I don't have a clue which one is your daughter. Hope your day has been wonderful. Hugs, Debby
His smile is as bright as ever. May that always be the case!
Dear Sandie, Such a true and very wise saying. Children try to mirror their parents example.
I love the pictures. Congratulations to your grandson. I am going to guess the little girl in blue?
Thank you for visiting Sandie. You are always like sunshine.
Blessings dearest. Catherine xo
Isn't it crazy, and a bit sad how quickly time flies? Andy's pix are delightful!
OK, I'm throwing all my bets, your daughter's the leggy blonde in the center.
... and what-the-heck is that girl to her left looking at any way?
Andy has always been a cutie! It's hard to believe how fast they grow up! My daughter will be in High School next year where boys will be asking to take her on a date! YIKES!
I am going to guess that your daughter is the last girl on the left or she could be the second girl.
I survived Field Day today! lol But I cheated. I checked him out at lunch and didn't bring him back! lol
Hugs,
Angela
Congratulations to your grandson on his graduation and best wishes to him as he enters a new stage of life. He is very handsome! I loved the photo of your daughter and friends from long ago ..how do they grow up so fast? I am still on a wedding high from my daughter's wedding this past saturday. My knees are just beginning to recover from all the dancing I did..lol!
Very sweet pictures. They grow up way, way too fast.
Good going back, what sweet memorie. I would say your daughter is the blond in the middle.
Second from left? Good looking grandson.
Sandie...you have a great looking grandson!
This is a cute post :D The old photo and the new photo was taken on the same spot! Your grandson is handsome Ms Sandie. He is a looker just like the grandma! :D
By the way, I really do not know why your emails are not coming through...
Happy weekend!
A smile on his first day and a smile on the last. I hope he continues to enjoy school for the next few years. Your grandson is growing into a fine young man Sandie.
Time goes quickly, doesn't it? My oldest grandson "graduated" from kindergarten last week. Seems like yesterday that he was born and we were first time grandparents. Now there are five grandchildren! I used to take pictures of all my kids on the first day of school as well. Good memories. Your grandson is a fine looking young man!
As Tennyson put it so well, "The old order changeth, yielding place to new" (or words to that effect).
Changing times, indeed. But looking good!
Oh how they grow!! Love your photos!!
What a handsome little fellow and my do they grow fast. Bet it seems like yesterday to you.
I'm guessing his mom is second from the left.
What a wonderful post. I love seeing pictures of children as they grow.
Too funny about your house. I do the same thing when I look at old pictures I took. I am very careful now when I take pictures to be sure I am zoomed in. LOL Of course years from now, no one will know what my house looked like today. You can't win.
wow...he's big now...and handsome!!!
You know...sometimes my house is mess too...lol...do not worry....
The first girl counting left, near the little boy? Is she? I do not know if I understood your question!
and THAT is a good advise!
God bless you. Bshell
Oh how handsome.I just can't get enough of My Grandchildren, except the days I babysit 10 hours in a row-TEHE.the picture of your Daughter and her friends looks exactly like the pics.of My girls when they were that age-AAHH the memories!
OK, I already mentioned in the most recent post that I loved this, but I wanted to comment and try to guess.
I think she's the one in the pink stripes because she reminds me of your GS in the smile.
Sweet pictures of your handsome grandson!!
What a handsome young man. A wonderful milestone. Our little man here starts kindergarten in the fall. now we see what there is to look forward to. take care.
How exciting...time sure does fly. Is his mother the second one on the left?
