Fun Friday

I am so lucky to have everything!

On the Other Side of 50 - this is so funny!

1. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

2. Nothings worse than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. How in the world do you fold a fitted sheet?

5. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

6. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

7. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again.

8. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

9. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

10. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time.

CahootsI have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots.
Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone.
I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.
I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work.

I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore.
I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.
I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.
Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.
One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!
I may have been in Continent, and I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing and can be very embarassing!
You can also be infatuated.  With this extra weight I've put on, I think I'm already there!

Thanks Carol.

  26. One of the funniest fun Fridays of all! I can't wait to read this to my husband when he gets home. I can relate to just about every comment on here.

But now, that man can fold a fitted sheet. Don't ask me how he does it so well. I think his lanky old ape arms have something to do with it.

  41. Isn't it funny how many of can identify with one or more items on THAT list?!?
After too many years of trying -- and failing -- to fold a fitted sheet, I decided to have one set of linens per bed. As soon as the dryer finishes, it's right back on the bed.... no muss, no fuss .. and best of all, no folding!
    Have a beautiful evening!
