Tuesdays Tails

I have some good news for me - my friend Jean and her husband are coming today from NC.  Her husband has a class to attend and she is going to spend time with me for a couple of days.  I'm going to make my posts short and sweet and I hope you have some laughs for a couple of days.

Jean and her lovely daughter -

My daughter is in the white pinafore with red hair and Jean's daughter is the one to the right - which most guessed as mine.  Their first day of kindergarten - Jean and I met when the girls were babies.  Her other one - a son- is a couple years younger and is on the left.

I met Jean in 1979 when we moved to Lake Zurich, IL.  She was a neighbor and invited me to a neighborhood Bible Study.  She is my personal earthly angel. We are kindred spirits and have gone though a lot with each other through the years.  More than words can ever say.

We both moved back in 1986 - we moved to GA and she went to NC, but we never lost touch.  We've been back and forth to each others home.  She'll call me sometimes in the morning when she walks and she has prayed for me at her prayer spot (above) many times.  She's about the happiest person I've ever known.  Jean's a wonderful, wonderful Christian woman.  And I am so proud to call her friend.

Now look what she gave me for coming to HER RETIREMENT party - and let me tell you the house was busting with friends.

Now you see what I mean?  So I am taking a couple days off to spend good quality time with her.

Now on to some tails:

DID YOU HAVE ENOUGH FIREWORKS THIS PAST WEEK?  Isn't that just too cute - I love pugs - just love them.  And she had an umbrella for the sun to protect her.  Amazing dogs love us no matter what we dress them in.

Now this is not my dog - but this is exactly like my dog - trust me.  I think Disco dreams of this!  He makes noises when he sleeps like a dream - do your fur babies do that?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Now this is funny - yes - but think about it - I think it is so true.  You have to crack to grow!

Enjoy your friend's company. Isn't it nice to keep a friend for so many years? As one of my good friends says it takes caring on both parts to maintain a friendship for so many years.

Please try to keep your play down to a fairly genteel level. For Arlynda hasn't been able to work for about a month now, and we may not have enough for bail if you get as rambunctious as you can.
