Any kind of banana split is good, but to have a guiltless one is amazing. We have a cooling rain coming down here this morning. It's a great way to start off the new week. Hope your Monday is a wonderful one!

I don't know which I love more- the guiltless banana split, or how to survive middle school!

Would it be a red barn?

Lisa @ Two Bears Farm said...

Well, you know I am The Banana Hater. I'd have to make this with peaches.

Sandie,
Desert in a jar. It looks delicious too. This is a cute skinny desert.

I LOVE bananas and frozen yogurt! I have to leave the chocolate off mine....it's a dog thing....

I didn't know there was such a thing as a guiltless banana split, but I'm up for that!

So what kind of barn is it? ;-)

I'm not a fan of banana splits, but I'm going to save that recipe ... I like to make special little treats for my grands when they're here, and I think that would be a winner!

That thought for the day is not just for middle schoolers - it's true for all of us! ;-)

a red barn of many purposes, heck, even living quarters for me.
I could take a banana split right now for breakfast, but add nectarines and blueberries, kick the chocolate, it raises my bp

I just have to have that lovely jar!

Cute banana split idea! I have vintage glass serving bowls from the thrift store - they used to be in soda shops years back - just the right size for a single serving of the recipe you posted today! Thanks!

PS I see that recipe says 2 servings...better double all of those amounts! lol

Guiltless? I don't believe it! :)

I'd say a tractor barn also...but what do I know...lol!!! Love that dessert in a jar...yum!! Hugs, Linda

What a cute presentation of that dessert! I think the presentation is important when you're making slimmer or healthier changes and part of you (your tummy?) is longing for the old, full fat version. Your eyes and mind have to tell the tummy "hey look how cute this is! Give the new stuff a chance!"

Please tell me I am not the only one with body parts that voice their individual opinions....

this sounds so good, yum!!!!

I don't know what kind of barn that is ... a red barn?

In any case, I like it! You know I like barns, but especially old barns.

As for the b.split, I'll have to pass. Have a good one - either day or banana split, or how about BOTH!

Wow those b splits looks very tasty! !!! Have a great day

Now you know, any banana split is a 'GOOD THING!'

The prescription for survival works, even getting thru old age (I hope! LOL)
Have a great day. I slept 'til 11 today. I love this cool air.

PS:
That is my kind of barn, get the vehicle in where the tools are and get set to play. So it is an old man's play house. hahahaha

So weird how guiltless recipes are so different from low carb yet people lose weight in both types of dieting. Enjoy!

I'm going to try that, I found some 100 calorie per serving instant pudding mix so I may try it with that instead of the vanilla yogurt. We'll see.

beer barn? :)

Love this banana dessert! This is what I need to be eating instead of what I usually make!

Parsley said...

A barn that holds CARS instead of cows?

LOVE icecream. Now I'm hungry!

Beth said...

The barn is probably some kind of business.

I want a banana split now!

Nonnie said...

I didn't know Stonyfield made frozen yogurt too. Will have to look for that. Yummy. (Although I am with Lisa - will have to use strawberries in mine).

Nonnie said...

Should have also mentioned that I am no expert on barns, so I don't know what kind of barn it is. My knowledge of barns is only that my husband thinks we live in one - he doesn't shut doors! ;-)

Not a fan of the banana split without the bananna. I would go for nuts as a topping and choc drippling over it and whipping cream. Yummier!

Unknown said...

Looks very yummy, the banana split that is :) Nice picture of the barn. Happy Monday! Mine is nearly ending lol!

Miss Debbie said...

Cute banana split! About the barn...with the bay door, it looks like a place where someone would work on cars or other equipment. That's my guess!

Susan said...

Oh my gosh, Sandie. It's been literally years and years since a banana split has touched these lips. Mmm mmmm mmmm Susan

Ann said...

anything that starts with the word guiltless is a winner in my book :)

Angela said...

Looks like there is a power plant behind that barn in the distance.

My sister brought over a banana split cake which had no cake in it at all.

Charlotte Wilson said...

Red car barn, boat barn, banana split barn??? Can't wait to find out the answer. Are you giving a prize?
LOL

Blondee said...

Yum!

And I would guess a pole barn....

Anonymous said...

Yum on the banana split, what kind of barn?I see smoke stacks behind it.

Dee said...

I think it is a pole barn...perhaps used as a work shop...is that chimney with the smoke coming out part of the barn? I have not tried frozen yogurt yet...but I just may after seeing your recipe.

Dolores said...

I'm drooling!!! I need and want a banana split.... this 'low calorie' one sounds like a winner!

SquirrelQueen said...

I hope that's a power plant behind the mystery barn and not a paper mill....eww!
Not sure but maybe a barn with a really gorgeous house attached?

Guiltless is my favorite kind of dessert. That looks delicious!

A beautiful version of the song in the video below.

You have me salivating. xxxx

So what kind of barn is it??

The banana splits look delicious. Why is it that when things are presented in a cute way like in a little jar, I automatically think that they taste better?

And just hold on through middle school! It's kind of like menopause, I guess, something that just has to "pass".

As I've told you, I LOVE kids at this age. Enjoy sixth grade as much as you can. Keep him YOUNG. Don't let anyone else bully your family into letting him join the worldly, grown up crowd.

I have advice for 7th grade too, but I will wait until next year to give it. LOL

(And I did vote for Shiloh at Target.com)

Ok....I give up. What kind of barn is it??

I Love cherries! What kind of barn is it??

What I'd give for a banana split. Unfortunately bananas make my blood sugar go through the roof. SIGH. Looks scrumptious though.
