Tuesdays Tails and Tales

Okay have you ever been to Ohio - Cincinnati? They have an ice cream that is now sold in regular grocery stores and very expensive - called Graeter's.  We had to stop for some black raspberry chip ice cream - it is delishious.

Then we used to have a Smokey Bones here in Atlanta and they closed it - so my older GS loves it and yes - we did go out and let him get a sandwich.   They have two in Ohio.

Of course we brought Disco on the trip.

And we celebrated a birthday.

Both of my dear grandsons at Thanksgiving and I am thankful for them both.

I have been to Ohio, in fact my son was born there....but it was a long time ago. I don't know of Graeters or Smokey Bone but I'm glad you got to enjoy both.
Happy birthday to both your boys.

I have been to Cincinnati but I was a kid. A few years ago I ran a marathon in Dayton.

We have a Smokey Bones here.

OH---we used to love Smokey Bones--and ours that we went to in Nashville closed...

Never heard of that ice cream... You know me: I am so happy with Blue Bell. However, hubbies very favorite ice cream (for years now) is Blue Bell's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough... AND---he can't find it now... Talk about upset!!!! How dare Blue Bell for not having G's Cookie Dough Ice Cream... (No other brand is as good --according to the 'master').... ha ha

Hugs,
Betsy

I live in Ohio, but here where I am none of that ice cream is sold. The only times I've been to Cincinnati were just driving through to get to some place else. Haven't been to Smokey Bones either, but several of the kids have and love it too.

Nice you had such a great time on your visit. Hope your Tuesday is a terrific one!

Both of those GS's are adorable! Hope you got lots of hugs and kisses in! And Disco, he's still pretty darn cute, too.

OK, you too.

I have never been to Ohio, but I see a trip in my future because my nephew is marrying a young lady from that state and we will be traveling there for the wedding. Did the ice cream have chocolate chips in it? Sounds so delicious and the birthday cake looked good too. Your grandsons are both handsome and happy looking boys! Love the smiles. Disco looked pretty content too. :-)

Some of the coupon-bloggers keep offering Smokey Bones coupons and I couldn't imagine why I would want bones of any kind. LOL Thought maybe they were dog treats.

I'm liking your 'thought(s) for the day,' Sandie. The ice cream would be down my line, like you if it's expensive probably only once to check it out. Our most 'store bought' ice cream is MacDonalds Chocolate Fudge Sundae.

Your disco Disco picture is soooo cute of him.
