CHRISTMAS IS COMING!
Another barn - lol - this one has a silo and everything. See the blurring brown? That is what a tree looks like on a photograph at about 80 mph. This is also stretched to the max - lol!Okay and here is one more. If you want to see barns go to Kentucky - just go slow if you want good pictures.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
“Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out.”
John R. Wooden (born 1910);
Still saying a prayer - as we all are - for the families in Connecticut.

I always feel so good after I visit your site. Thank you~
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday.
ReplyDeleteYou do such a nice job with pictures taken from a moving car! I tried to take a picture of Mt. St. Helens from a moving car when we were in Oregon a couple of years ago ... needless to say that picture was deleted from my camera!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the dog, and I'm not even a fan of dogs!
ReplyDeleteThey do say gas prices are still going down here, so hoping Santa doesn't have to feed his reindeer too many beans this year. Hope your Monday is off to a great start. I've changed the beds getting ready for weekend company, now on to the baking!
ReplyDeleteYou always make me smile, my friend....have a fun day!
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteNow you trying to electrocute that dog with christmas lights.
I had a laugh as you always have something up your sleeves to show and tell.
I like the bean cartoon. Ho,ho
Wise thinking Santa.
Yes today they have the two young boys to bury. Oh my .
The worse has still to come for the rest of children to be buried.
For sure prayers never end for those families.
Will be a very bleak Christmas.
I mean how can we ourselves enjoy the fullness of Christmas knowing that the loss of children are part of us.
Being Mothers, Grandmothers.
This Christmas will sure be different to my hubby and I.
Happy Monday to you sweet Sandie! I'm home for a few days to finish Christmas shopping and wrapping and then back to help the kids move! hugs, Linda
ReplyDeletewould love to see that area of the country.
ReplyDeletegreat barns, it is so fun to share them with so many.
ReplyDeletelove the Santa cartoon. giggles. big giggles. roll on the floor giggles.

Wouldn't you just LOVE to know what your sweet dog is thinking as he is wrapped in colored lights...flash going off in his face.
ReplyDeleteHe's beautiful!
that Christmas Pup could be my niece's dog Cody, so pretty. and i like the alternative fuel and could run my car if i knew how. LOL

ReplyDeleteI loved that quote from John Wooden, and it's so true.
Loved your photos - even at 80 mph.
GOD BLESS!
(P.S. Today I posted about Marty's latest escapade. Disco might get a kick out of it!)
Your doggie is looking festive! I must say if I'm traveling at 80 mph then I'm the one usually doing the driving. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day! Are you ready for Christmas?

ReplyDeleteI love Kentucky. It has my vote as the most beautiful state in the US.
ReplyDeleteYes, life goes on for all of us ---but those people in Connecticut still need our prayers. God Bless them all..
ReplyDeleteCute post --especially the BEANS joke.
Hugs,
Betsy
That dog must be very patient! haha! The reindeer cartoon made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI like your "Christmas Dog" :)
ReplyDeleteI so want to do the light strand thing with Miss Mindy. But I am positive she won't sit still!
ReplyDeleteI always love the barns!
ReplyDeleteYour lighted pooch did better than my lighted pooch!!
ReplyDeleteGreat post!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the dog in lights pic. That is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome Thought of the Day!
Santa in a gas mask had me laughing out loud.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of the dog tangled in the Christmas lights.
ReplyDeleteI laughed at Santa's plan for alternative fuel
I admire your quick snapping of photo's...you have a talent to spot them at 80 miles and hour ...position the camera and snap. It is a talent. :) If human gas was as easy as eating beans my husband could fill up my car twice a day LOL...the picture of your dog is one you can frame and put out each year...it is so cute....the difference with cats and dogs...my cats would never let me even get close to them with the lights.
ReplyDeleteI love your speedy pictures turn out. Mine would look like one big crazy blur.
ReplyDeleteI love barns, and if there is a silo attached, all the better.
Your reindeer gas made me grin. Thanks. I needed to grin.
The dog with lights is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI love your cute post... and ..... I love you!!!
ReplyDeleteThat dog IS cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm still praying.
It will be hard for people to find peace this holiday season.

xo Catherine

ReplyDeleteMerle....
Hello Sandie...
ReplyDeleteNice barn shots.
Cute lighted up doggie, too.
Yes, Sandie, we must all keep praying for the families of the little ones. It is beyond sad. Susan
happy hip hopping deer, dear. I love your Christmas posts, complete with lighted pup.
ReplyDeleteI can't pass a barn without thinking of you. Should I photograph them for you? Somehow, I think I should.

Love the blurry tree! You're too funny! Hope you had a nice Monday!

ReplyDeleteHi Sandie -
ReplyDeleteAlways get a chuckle from your posts. Have a great day!
Blessings,
Susan :)
...of course, the alternative fuel just cracked me up. Hope Mrs. Claus has a goodly supply of beano when they return.
