Saturday's Service

Who says that old people still can't contribute?

Pancake mix in an old ketchup bottle.

Old baggies in a Kleenex box

Clips to hold wires.

Door hangar for snacks - I think this is a great one.

Jewelry on a bulletin board.
These were all from Jean!

Thank you Kelly.

i saved the pictures of the clamps and the bag on the door. i don't have snacks, but that would work for supplies to, like in here for computer things that are needed. and i am going to buy some of those clamps. i have 4 USB cords plugged in my computer and the ends hang on the floor, two cameras and 2 external hard drives and is use them daily.

Great ideas there today. Thanks for sharing them with us. I especially liked that one about the clamps and the cords too. Hope your Saturday is a super one!

I will definitely use the bags in a Kleenex box idea. We save lots of bags around here for dog walks.

I love it when folks come up with and share unique (new) ideas. I always ask myself the question, "Why didn't I think of that?" hahaha

Beautiful thoughts and a beautiful day. ((HUGS)) from Wildwood...

Fun! I like the way to keep computer cords in order. And the snack storage? Wouldn't dare have that around here. Instead, I use one of those that I hang on our bathroom door (inside) to keep all the stuff that would otherwise sit out on our vanity. Have a great weekend, Sandie!

Now I have an idea for empty kleenex boxes. Wishes for a great Saturday!

oooh. I like some of these ideas for organizing. The garbage bags is good b/c here everyone throws them in a cupboard....hate that. Hugs Chatty...have a great one out there....your bud from across the border.

I love the kleenex box for bags! Many years ago I used a cork board for my necklaces. :) The over the door holder wouldn't work in our kitchen because of our bifold doors on the pantry and we don't have enough snacks. lol But, I thing that would work great in a craft/office. You always share great stuff! Thank you and your helpful friends!

Love those ideas! =D Very very useful! I like the baggies in the kleenex box idea the best!

Hi Cheerful Sandie, I have been on blog lull. When I work, especially this time of year, I am so absorbed by work. Yesterday I spent 5 hours getting grads completed. Whewww. Yay, no school Monday! I'm going to lunch with a day time friend. Love the hints. I will do all of them.

I like the one with the snacks behind the door! Very clever. Except if one could see the door and be tempted......

have a great day!

Thanks for the tips. I like them all! The lemon info is one I have used to stop drinking diet coke. Make a big glass of water with half a lemon sliced, it is so good and good for you.

What clever ideas, especially the clips and the jewelry board...and snacks in the shoe rack would also work for the jewelry, scarves, belts, etc...small stuff
Thanks for the fun ideas

O.K. this is funny, don't worry! This morning I have been having some stroke like symptoms...blurred vision and headache. I just put in a call to the doctor on call and he said not to worry, it sounds more like a migraine or the beginning of flu. BUT when I saw white ketchup coming out of that bottle, I was going to RUN to the E.R.!!!! Ha ha ha!!! Hey, does your daughter have migraines? For some reason I thought she does. Do they ever give her blurry vision?

Hootin Anni said...

Now let's see...where do I begin...I need some lemon juice to aid in my concentration...or is that concentrated lemon juice? LOL

I really like the ideas...especially the kleenex box filled with reusable bags. Nifty. [Does nifty age me any?]

i've taken to drinking one to two squeezed lemons - either in hot green tea or just in water - each night. :)

You make me want to go make some pancakes so I can squeeze the batter from a ketchup bottle. What a good idea.

Nice Saturday things you found, Sandie. I especially like your hints for seniors.

Some I might try if I can remember them. Do you know how long pancake batter will last?

Next time I find an empty Klenex box it will start putting my newspaper sleeves in it. We use them for picking after Katrin (our toy poodle).

What a lot of great hints.Someone has a good mind.
I remember once squeezing a lemon and spraying the front of my blouse with it, and it reacted like bleach, and took the color out. I like it used for a bad cough. Mix lemon juice and honey in equal parts (1/2 cup each) with a little cooking oil. Stir and sip it slowly over two days and your cough goes...amazing. xx

So many cute ideas ... which one to choose first?
I'm not fond of pancakes, but want to try this "just because."
...and can't help but wonder what sort of ungodly mess I'd make, getting the batter into that ketchup bottle? lol.

My grandmother used to drink lemon water before she went to bed. I do it when I have a cold, but should probably do it all the time. (Although I'm usually wanting to avoid those middle of the night trips to the loo. :)

Uh Oh. I must be old because I do most of those things. I do not do the ketchup bottle one, but what a great idea!!

As you probably read, I had reason to be absent yet again last week.

I don't think I am ever going to get that groove back. Maybe God doesn't want me to. That's a thought.
