Another Disco Tail - ha-ha!
This is my mom, my boy or brother, and me. I'm his real brother because we can fight like real brothers. He kind of bothers me so I will low growl at him warning him to leave me a lone I've had enough.
Well my boy goes to a private Christian school - I go with him everyday to drop him off and yes I growl at the teachers that are outside that take his lap away from me at the doorway into his building. He always has to move me to get out to go to school. What is school anyway. So dumb I think.
Well this school has lots and lots and lots of something they call homework - I call it time taken from him being able to devote all his time to me. I don't like this thing called school.
Now I know my boy likes school, but he is like me - he doesn't like homework and he just wants to fool around and play with me/
See mom there - she wants him to put me down on the cold floor and sit. She says he can't do homework with me on his lap. We know better - it will just take extra time - like twice as long.
I just don't see what the big deal is - do you?
And grandma when are you going to get me a new signature?
Something I thought was kind of good to think about today is:
“The
only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.”
It was said by Ralph Waldo Emerson- he's a famous poet. I think it is true - because most of the time I am a good dog, but ah, I do have my defining shall I say - rough moments.
More about those next week.

I think Disco and "his boy" look very comfortable and Disco should stay on his lap. I got your back Disco. LOL
Oh, Disco, you look so comfortable in your boy's lap. I had to smile when I saw the look on your face~
Homework is overrated ;-)
I think you are teaching your boy multi-tasking :) He can hold you and get his homework done (albeit in twice the time :)
but you are all cute together, just remember that summer will be here so very soon!
betty
I think you are getting there Disco, a couple more entries and you will be downgraded to human!!!
BUT thanks for the update on your activities and behavior. You are lucky to have a brother to growl at!!!
((HUGS)) but not too tight, from the PEACE!
LOL! I'll be looking forward to hearing about those "other" times soon!! LOL! blessings ~ tanna
Hi Disco. I must say that I'm really enjoying your posts. I think you can get rid of the other one! lol!! What super photos of you with your mum and brother today. I love all your lovely smiles. That Ralph Waldo Emerson must have been a very clever man, because he comes up with some wonderful posts. It looks as if you have a lot of fun in your house. As you say, school - what is that anyway! Pffft!! I'm sure your brother would much rather stay home and play with you all day. Big hugs from me to you. Woof!!
Ralph comes up with some wonderful quotes - NOT posts! I was just getting carried away gazing at your photo, and thinking how handsome you were!!
Samson Says: Great, I've discovered another dog post! Hi Disco, I'm Samson the Samoyed Dog. Sometimes my mommy lets me post on our blog too. I hope you stop by and leave me a comment sometime. Hmmm, are you a boy or a girl? Yours truly, Samson
Guess there's a reason it's called homeWORK - and work just goes on and on and on
We are all who we are and even though we may have some rough edges they do tend to make us what we are. Spending time with loved ones is the best of times but remember when they are gone, they are still just as close to us as our hearts...where we keep them always.
Disco, you need to talk to those teachers about all that homework! That's just wrong!
Lovies, Miss Mindy
So cute and yes there is lots of homework:) Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
too cute, disco. :)
since you look really comfy there in boy's lap, i vote stay there, but don't tell your grandma i said that... and yes, you do need a new signature.
I vote for the lap over the floor, Disco. Tell them that your boy would be too distracted by wondering what you were doing if you weren't right there on his lap! :)
My boys go to private Christian school also. And man that homework is a killer we were up very late last night doing it :(
I'm not a fan of homework either. Going to school all day and then having to do schoolwork at home seems kinda unfair.
Sure looks different around here!
A lap dog belongs on a lap...right? Makes sense to me anyway.
I love your new signature, Disco!!! Sunny, Cher, and Simba say a big HI!! I am with YOU disco! School is at least six hours long each day, with lots of learning. Why do the kids then have to go home and study? A friend of mine has a grandson in N.C and they have year round school, they go for about six weeks then have a few weeks off and it rotates like that all year. THAT is what all schools should do!! I cannot wait for your next posts Disco!! This is what you can do while your boy is at school, hijack grandma's blog!!!
Disco's face in that last shot says it all! :D Ha!
Oh, Disco, you're so cute! Who could care about homework when you're around?? :) My boy doesn't like homework either. :)
I think being in the lap is the way to go Disco.
The smiles in the photos say it all. But don't tell my daughter on me Disco. She's a teacher..Shhhhh...about that...okay?
Happy Disco day!!:-)
Disco and brother are mighty good looking!!!
Love the Emerson quote....
I agree with you Disco! What's the big deal anyway? Shhh...don't tell Grandma or Mom I said that! ;)
Well Disco, my mom doesn't go to school but she goes to something called work. I think they might be kind of the same because they both take away from our play time.
Disco as long as you sit quiet and do not cause your boy to lose his concentration you could be a big help to him. But it is totally up to your mom :)
I think Disco should go to school and let the boy take a break for a while. :-)
Hi Disco....You are very cute. You have a good sense of humor, too. I just loved the photo with you and your Mom and brother. Where was your Grammie? Take a picture with her, too, sometime.
Yeah, homework stinks sometime but it is good to learn new things. School is not that bad. You should try it some time.
In the meantime, take care and give that Grammie of yours a little nuzzle, will you? Susan
Poor Disco... SO neglected. Disco, you need to learn to HELP with the HOMEWORK like Mom and Grandma does... That way, you would get more attention..... ha
Great pictures. That grandson is getting more handsome every day.
Hugs,
Betsy
Nothing quite like the love between a boy and his dog...
I never cared much for homework either. Great family photo. :)
Disco- You have to stand up for your rights!! YOU are more important than HW!! Or Boy needs to learn how to rub belly and write at the same time??? Just saying. . . .
Oh I see some cuteness in this post!
love
tweedles
Who needs homework when you have Disco? lol I used to make my boys do there homework as soon as they got home from school. They hated that, but afterwards they could play as much as they wanted and there was never any fighting trying to get homework done. It worked!
Disco, you are one cute pup...now, go do your homework....or at least sit still so your boy can do his. Hugs.
Blessings
Poor Disco, you are a cutie.
helloooo Disco! Cute little Disco is complaining. Poor, poor Disco.
Disco, please tell Grandma that I got my computer back TODAY and that I am soooooooo HAPPY!!!
Thank you!
Yes I have rough (ruff) moments too. Our Jack Russells like a good lap as well. Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Love the pictures....too cute!
I never did care for homework either. Disco, what I see is one happy boy and one happy dog. When I do the math, I see it makes the homework much more pleasant!
Disco, you make me smile! Yes, I follow all your clever reasoning here.
1. It isn't fair that school takes away your boy's lap.
2. Homework is no fun.
3. A cold floor - a warm lap? NO. CONTEST.
4. No, I don't see the big deal!! :)
Keep loving that boy, Disco. You are such a good dog - even with those *ruff* moments!
xo
too adorable, disco!
