Tuesdays Tails

What can I do with this crazy family?  I shake just a little bit from the cold - sit in the sun - and they put two coats on me... these people are nuts - but they're my nuts.  Well you know it has been bitter cold - it got in the 30's here!

I am King of the Castle of Nuts!  All I need is my crown.  He-he.

DISCO signing out...

Something to think about:

  20. Disco, I've got to say being King of the Nuts is a pretty good thing - especially if the nuts just happen to be the Chatty family!

Love how you look in your royal robe!!

  26. Awwww Disco, they just love you!

  27. Hi Disco! You look adorable! Our Rocket gets cold too. We bought him a sweater and he sometimes brings it to us to put on him.:) Us silly humans worry about our pups. :)

  28. Poor Disco. Dogs really have no say in the silliness of their families, do they? My little Miniature Dachshound used to strut around in his outfit. Trudy just seems to feel the way Jay does when he has to wear a suit.

    I like the quote.

  29. Disco, you CRACK Me UP!! You have absolutely made my day!!! King Of The Castle Of Nuts!!!!!! I LOVE it and I think it will be my motto from now on! I may even shamefacedly borrow it for my blog! Because you know that Phil really loves nuts, all kinds! Now isn't that so good for me?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Our pups often leave "presents" in walk-ways to show how much they appreciate us.

    ReplyDelete
  36. There are many people who would laugh at 30 degrees being called bitter cold! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  37. We are nuts around here too, Disco. Our pups start shivering when it's in the 60s - well, they are Florida born. Now they've got to toughen up, just like the humans! Ann TBL

  38. Awe so cute Disco. The coats show you how much they love you.

  43. Toward the end of the month I like to adventure out and stop in some different blogs and I came over from “Hootin' Annie” ….I sort of remember “Disco Duck” wasn't it a cartoon like thing. We had a real cold snap here in North Idaho it was in the teens for a bit...The dog got charm...If you have time stop in some time...Coffee is on.

  44. Disco, button up your overcoat. Your family puts capes on you to keep you warm. Be grateful and stop yer whining.

They want you to be comfy, you silly dog!

Now go give them a nuzzle and let them know how special they are and how much you appreciate them.

Then ask for a bone. You'll get it, too. Susan

  46. Hi Sandie, Hope you all are doing okay down there in GA. We had a beautiful day yesterday at Biltmore --and it felt like Spring. Today was cloudy and dreary --with severe weather maybe coming tonight/tomorrow.... THEN--it will get cold again... Let's keep going around this merry-go-round... ha

Hi, Disco... You can be my 'nut'....
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  47. It is good to have such wonderful nuts caring for you. I bet deep down you really do like it :)

  48. I love Michelle Kwan's attitude. After all, how many people win Olympic silver or bronze for that matter?

    ReplyDelete
  49. Aw....so sweet! I need to put up Roxanne's photo with her pretty new coat! That girly dog has a better wardrobe then anyone I know!

That Disco has the life! Making sure he is cozy and warm! What a sweet "nut" of a phamily!

  51. The dogs looks so funny, and the one in bed, almost human. I saw a monkey in some zoo in the U.S. who was wearing a coat and hood against the cold... We are so mad, we think if we are cold then they are. My little toy poodle will shiver after a bath on a very hot day. I think she does that to make me feel sorry for bathing her.. Animals sure do rule us, I bet they think we are so silly.

  52. disco, you are soo cute!

  55. Poor dear Disco!
If only Augie could share his fur coat with disco! Aug will sit outside and pant at 50 degrees outside. May have to shave him soon than spring!!
Tell Disco "it's easier to put on clothes than to take off!"

  63. As long as you are happy with your people Disco then it is all good.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Disco is adorable and loved. I hate being cold too. Maybe I should start wearing two coats too.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Country Corgis: You tell them, Disco!!! You must always let them know that you ARE the king of the household. It is one of our main jobs to keep the humans in their place! Grammy says she needs two pairs of shoes to keep her feet warm in this COLD weather!

    ReplyDelete
  66. Disco - what a cutie. :)

    ReplyDelete
  67. Cold in Atlanta - go figure :) Adorable fuzzy friend you have there!

    ReplyDelete
  68. 30 you say???? It's minus four here. And little disco is adorable....stay warm and govern your kindom of nuts with the same love they watch over you.

    ReplyDelete
  69. You've got the right idea...go with the flow! heehee! Stay warm!

    ReplyDelete
  70. It was -45° here this morning; that's -49° in your terms. All it would have taken to freeze your hand was to touch one of our double-glrazed window.

I'm not sure how Disco would respond to that fresh, bracing, invigorating weather. Perhaps he should stay where he is, coats and all. (Sorry to sound inhospitable, but I don't want you ending up with a pupsicle.)

    ReplyDelete
  71. Two coats....you poor thing!

    ReplyDelete
  72. You sound like the lady who cared for Katrin while we were gone. She was soooo happy that we had found a sweater for Katrin.

Katrin doesn't wear a sweater at our house but those people spoil her. When Mrs. Jim thought our Adi was getting too cold sleeping having her bed on the floor she asked our vet about it.

The vet asked, she is a dog is she not?
