WHAT VITAMIN DIALS DOWN HEART-DISEASE RISK?
New evidence shows that vitamin D may protect the heart. It guards against cardiovascular risk factors like inflammation and diabetes. Midday sun exposure is the best way to boost Vitamin D levels - you get 3,000 IU in 10 minutes. But in the winter, a supplement can help you get the recommended 1,000 IU a day. (From First For Women - thanks Cheri).

Loads of great information! I dream a lot and now I know why:) LOVE the bird feeder! Have a blessed week dear Sandie, HUGS!
Oh my gosh... Hard to believe Tuesday is here already. Where is the time going?
Interesting facts about the human body. it's a good thing I am not very germphopic or the list of "germ spots" would have freaked me out.
My thumb is the same length as my nose!
Interesting facts for sure.
I think we should use that senior texting and see if the "younger" generation can figure it out...LOL
I wonder how many people put their thumb next to their nose, lol. I did...and it was the same. ;)
Love the bird feeder and the clothespins!
sweet little wooden spoon bird feeder. :)
I love that seniors texting codes...
It took me ages to work out LOL...
I believe before long we won't talk. we'll just abbreviate everything.
Love the funnies and thanks for the Ant link!!
hughugs
We are all walking talking miracles for sure. I do love that sunshine, but today it's cloudy here. Maybe I'll get that extra D tomorrow. Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
Always something to learn from your blog! I do take extra Vit D!!!
hugs,
Linda
I've never understood why germs on a soap dispenser matter. If you dispense the soap before you wash your hands and don't touch the dispenser after, you should be washing those germs off anyway.
Loved all the facts about humans. I didn't know most of these.
Thanks for the link on ants. We've been battling them for a long while. Pretty much doing these things too.
Loved the laugh and the lift? There is no impossible. I'm just saying.
Have a terrific day honey. Big hugs. :)
Hi Sandie, Another great post. I loved reading the first group of interesting facts/info...
I knew about Vit. D --because one time I was 'low' and had to take a powerful perscription for 3 months... Vitamins are just so important for us...
Thanks for the post today. I enjoyed it.
Hugs,
Betsy
A great read again. Some laughs and some really? Never knew.
Always enjoy dropping in when I can.
I loved the cheese grater earring holder. Man, some people are just so creative!
I've heard that about vitamin D, so I'm making sure that I get enough.
And, BTW, I really chuckled at the senior texting. LOL!
xo
Okay, if I talk to someone whose eyes are dilated, I won't know if they love me or hate me! Haha! That's a cute bird feeder.
Love that clothes pin idea!
I just measured my nose with my thumb.
I wonder if I'm the only one who did that? LOL
This was a wealth of information that I didn't know. I had heard about the benefits of a reasonable amount of sunshine. I feel it myself, in fact.
Great post Chatty dear! I love the Laugh so much. I am NOT old! I am NOT! I refuse to be. hahahahaha
Dear Sandie, You always are so interesting with all of these facts. I love the senior texting code, though I always have to ask my daughter for help, should I get a text.
Blessings dearest. Catherine xo
I LOVE the senior texting code, the list of things, and the clothespin holders, I pinned the clothespins!!!! How cool would it be to put one inside a cabinet door to pin recipes to while you cook??
Love the color of your blog. Can't remember how to spell it. I could make one of those earring holders. Why didn't I think of that. Now I know why I don't dream often, low IQ.
Lots of interesting facts there. What a clever bird feeder that is too
Cool Facts about the Human Body = Fantastic!!!!! And I love the bird feeder!!
S.
I'm Possible! So glad that I am so smart!!! LOL
Appreciated the ant info. Had an invasion here. Senior texting is fun.
I love the senior texting code.
Hope you have a great day.
Interesting.......I have learnt things I have had a giggle and I have left feeling good............
Good ideas and interesting information. No wonder feet can smell! That's a cute bird feeder. I always keep wipes with me.
My dad must have had double the sweat glands and bacteria on his feet as the normal person because when he took his shoes off, windows would be open and dogs would howl. My mom used to buy him Ting, but I am not sure that helped much. Poor man, he had to leave his shoes outside at night. Everything else about him was sweet though.
Running real late today. Always enjoy the read here.
Info on the body... I'm hereto tell you that my bladder is the size of a PEA! LOL
Okay I did measure my nose!
(HUGS)
Who knew one's thumb and their nose was the same length? Never heard that before...I did know all the "germ spots" though - we Germaphoebs know that sort of thing. Handrail on staircases and escalators are another hot germ spot, just in case you wanted to know. ;-)
As always I have learnt new stuff.
The texting code will be very handy if I ever get a mobile phone I can amaze the youngsters.
Merle........
LOL..still laughing over the senior texting code...I should show this to my grandson :) My IQ must be off the chart. I am a big time dreamer. I did not know my thumb was the same length as my nose...ouch :)
We did not know that about Vitamin D.
Thank you for the tips.
love

Great facts about the human body.
Loved the last one just for laughs.
Great facts! And I love the bird feeder! Miss you!
I like the ear ring holder, Sandie. Was it a Mother's Day school project or something like that?
My favorite useless information is that your nose is the same length as your thumb. Now I won't have to get so personal when I need to know one or the other.
..
That aqua grater is just too cool for words. LOVE the senior texts!! LOL!! blessings ~ tanna
Why didn't you tell me about the old grater trick before I threw mine out, Sandie! ;-) What a cute idea.
Love the birdie feeder. I think the grandkids and I will make one of those this week.
Fun Geezer texting code. LOL
Love that bird feeder!!!!
Very interesting, and helpful.
